William Peebles

William A Peebles III Born in Norfolk, Va, William "Raki" Peebles started playing saxophone at an early age. Although a proficient multi- instrumentalist(soprano,alto,tenor,baritone saxes,percussion, and keyboards), composition and improvisation have become his forte. After enrolling at SC State as a music major in 1977, Raki developed his skills as a musician while touring with the Henderson Davis Theater Group and the SC State Jazz Ensemble. The direction of composition really began to take shape when introduced to George Russell's Lydian Chromatic Concept of Tonal Organization as private student in the New England Conservatory of music graduate program. Raki has written for sting quartet, saxophone quartet and several bands including the NEC big band and the George Russell Sextet(GRS)

Daniel's skills in composition, arranging, and performance on the clarinet, flute, and saxophone in both classical and jazz idioms have awarded him numerous honors from organizations at the local, state, and national level

Frank Mauceri

Composer, saxophonist, and teacher, Frank Mauceri is based in southern Maine. His compositions include chamber music, electro-acoustic music, multi-media works, and jazz arrangements. As a saxophonist he has performed with the Boston based Aardvark Jazz Orchestra, and in Maine with fire-caught-fire, Loki, Tom Porter and Friends, as well as his own trio. He has a series of works for solo saxophone with computer processing. He has also performed multi-media works in Germany and the U.S. collaborating with video artist Maciej Walczak. Jeremy Rose

Sydney saxophonist/composer Jeremy Rose is interested in expanding dialogues between music disciplines, styles and cultures. He has released over a dozen albums of original music with his various collaborative and solo projects including The Vampires, The Strides, Jeremy Rose Quartet, Compass Saxophone Quartet and the Earshift Orchestra. Jeremy has performed at festivals, venues and concert halls throughout Australia, Europe and the UK, and has recently collaborated with guitarists Lionel Loueke and Kurt Rosenwinkel. The media has reported that Rose is ‘a bold, emerging Aussie voice’ (Limelight), that ‘his playing shows subtle glimpses of a mature master’ (The Australian), and that his ‘compositions are ruthlessly crafted affairs, with sufficient variety to bring out different aspects of everyone’s playing” (SMH)

Carl Clements

Saxophonist/flutist/composer Carl Clements performs and records internationally in a variety of styles, with a particular focus on jazz, Hindustani classical music, and various forms of improvised and pre-composed music. He has traveled frequently to India to advance his studies and to perform jazz, Hindustani classical music, and a fusion of these and other genres, and performs regularly in Europe with various international groups and to present his original music.

Carl's recordings include two albums featuring his original compositions for jazz quartet, A Different Light (2023) and Forth and Back (2004); nine CDs with guitarist Kevin Kastning (including three trio recordings with Sándor Szabó); four CDs with the eclectic jazz group Crosscurrent; and many others. He is also featured on the Global Music Award-winning album Time Travel by the Indica Project. Carl has performed extensively at jazz clubs and festivals throughout the world, and has performed and/or recorded with Kevin Kastning, Sándor Szabó, Luciana Souza, Steven Kirby, Felipe Salles, Luis Perdomo, Earl MacDonald, Dominque Eade, Steve Davis, Steve Johns, Dafnis Prieto, Edsel Gomez, Gary Smulyan, Ralph Alessi, Ravi Coltrane, Jason Robinson, Bob Weiner, Willard Dyson, George Schuller, John Lockwood, James Newton, Luques Curtis, Jean-Yves Jung, Russ Spiegel, Ranjit Barot, Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani, Loy Mendonsa, Louiz Banks, Gino Banks, Ed Byrne, Charlie Haden, Natraj, and many others.

Catarina New Catarina left Sweden, for New York to study at the “New School of Jazz”. Studying with world renowned artists as: Reggie Workman, Kenny Werner, Hal Galper, David Liebman, Bob Mintzer and Bill Evans, she became deeply involved in Jazz. Prior to studying in New York she had several years of studying piano, guitar, vocals, violin and bass in Sweden. Ms. New has a Master’s Degree in Music Education and was offered a full scholarship for a Master’s Degree in Jazz at University of Southern California while attending USC.
