PETR KALFUS (saxophones) Born on August 27, 1983 in Prague, Czech Republic. In 2007 he finished his studies at Jazz Faculty of Jaroslav Jezek’s College in Prague under professors Frantisek Kop and Rostislav Fras. He also took part in private sessions with Bedrich Smarda and Martin Plachy. Petr is one of the establishing members of Infinite Quintet. Emiliano Vernizzi

Saxophonist, composer, touring musician, modern music educator, best characterized as a versatile and reliable sideman; Emiliano “Emi” Vernizzi is one of the most seasoned saxophonists on the Italian music scene, whose resume reads as a “who’s who” of jazz and pop legends. He also leads and co-leads several original projects marked by a blend of influences that range from jazz, rock to funk, hip-hop, American roots, electronic and pop.
During his career, Emi is credited on more than 50 recordings and toured the US, Asia and Europe dozens of times, performing at hundreds of prestigious venues, including Blue Note (Milan, IT), Sunset Sunside (Paris, FR), Unterfahrt (Munich, DE), A-Trane (Berlin, DE), The Blue Lamp (Aberdeen, UK), ShapeShifter (NYC), Chris’ Jazz Club (Philadelphia, USA), The Maison (New Orleans, USA), Jazz Dock (Prague, CZ) and Opus Jazz (Budapest, HU). He has also graced the stage of many festivals, including the JIM Festival (China), Gateshead International Jazz Festival (UK), Jazz on5 Festival (CZ), UNESCO International Jazz Day (FR), Graz Jazz Nacht (AU), Burg Jazz (DE), Summer Fest (San Francisco, USA), Umbria Jazz (IT), Jamboree (IT) to name a few.Emiliano has collaborated with the Civica Jazz Band, which presented legendary guest artists Eddie Daniels, David Raksin, Dave Liebman, Max Roach, Bobby Watson, David Murray, Evan Parker, Paolo Fresu, Enrico Rava) and Bobby Durham, Anthony Wellington, Tommy Campbell, Fabrizio Bosso, Gianni Cazzola, Roberto Gatto.

James Hammond

James started on the clarinet in 1998 playing for the school band. He picked up sax for the jazz band in 1999 and the flute in 2000. He graduated from Willie J. Hargrave high in Huffman, TX (a suburb of Houston)on May 2005 and moved to Denton, TX to pursue a degree from the University of North Texas. Most summers at North Texas, James worked on cruise ships as a showband musician. Upon completing his bachelors in jazz performance, James once again hit the high seas. He traveled for 2 years before deciding to move to Chicago to integrate himself into the music scene. James has professional experience in a wide variety of genres from disco to bebop, neo-soul to waltz', sambas to top 40s and many more!

Spenser Liszt

Spenser Liszt fronts the self titled Dallas, TX band Spenser Liszt and His Disciples. Organic composition and pure improvisation are the foundations of his jazz-influenced group. Liszt released his debut album Until Further Notice (Armored Records) in January of 2014. Protruding from an entirely non-musical family, saxophonist Spenser Liszt has followed his dreams of performing professionally. As a native of Dallas, Texas, Liszt showed interest in music at an early age learning violin and piano before taking up saxophone in 1999. Greg Grispart
Greg Grispart is a multi-instrumentalist musician with accomplished skills as a performer in a wide range of genres. Early on, Greg earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education and Classical Clarinet Performance from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University. While attending Rutgers he was a member of the Grammy Nominated Rutgers Wind Ensemble under the direction of Dr. William Berz and can be heard on 5 of their CDs. In 2005 Greg performed with them at the CBNDA National Conference held at New York University and also presented a concert at Carnegie Hall later that spring. Greg also has had the privilege of performing in the Rutgers University Orchestra, the Rutgers Philharmonia, the Rutgers Symphony Band as well as the Rutgers Jazz Ensemble Too.

Steve Kaplan
Steve retired after teaching music for 27 years in the Trenton Public Schools . He is currently the director of Ewing High School's award winning Blues Devils Jazz Band, as well as The Summer Swing Orchestra. He can be spotted playing in pit orchestras, Odessa Klezmer, Joe Zook and Blues Deluxe and his own jazz band, Fascinating Rhythm. Steve is a multi-instrumentalist, performing on all saxes, clarinet, flute, and keyboard. In addition to playing and singing, he composes and writes arrangements for all sizes and styles of bands.

Gianni Vancini has become "a name" in today's US contemporary jazz scene. His solo career started in 2010 with the release of his first album "SOULS UNITED". Entirely made in the Netherlands with famous producer Thomas Bank, the album features lots of great guest appearances like: Eric Marienthal, Umberto Tozzi, Andrea Mingardi. SOULS UNITED soon became a great passpartout for the United States, Gianni's first single "Grapes" gained significant airplay in the major radio charts. Charley Gerard
Charley Gerard is a composer of chamber music and symphonic works in addition to being a jazz composer, saxophonist and the director of the Broken Reed Saxophone Quartet.
