One of NYC's busiest saxophonists for decades Mike was born in Buffalo, New York and began playing professionally at age 14 in area bands and with his own group, a trio with Billy Sheehan on bass and Ron Wagner on drums. While still in high school he toured Sweden with the Buffalo State Jazz Ensemble. Soon after he was guest soloist with the Buffalo Philharmonic and began touring with Maynard Fergusons' Band. Upon leaving Maynard he settled in NYC working with Gerry Mulligan, Woody Herman, Vanguard Orchestra, Machito , Chico O'Farrill, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Doc Severinson, Bob Belden Ensemble and many others touring most of Europe, Japan and the U.S

Tom Ward
Tom Ward aka Madwort is a musician, programmer and composer from Yorkshire, currently based in London. He moved south in 2004 to study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he was privileged to play in projects with such luminaries as Hermeto Pascoal, Django Bates and John Taylor. Since then, Tom has continued his musical development with workshops at the SIM school in New York with Ralph Alessi and Steve Coleman, with the F-IRE Collective in London with Barak Schmool and Stephane Payen, and by learning traditional music with local musicians in the Gambia. He is primarily a saxophonist – equally at home on alto, tenor or baritone saxes – but also likes to branch out into the worlds of the clarinet, bass clarinet, flute, piano and drums

Evan Shay
Born:
Evan Shay is a saxophonist and composer based in Montreal. Currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Jazz Performance at McGill University, Evan was presented with the Graduate Excellence Fellowship Award. While earning his Bachelor of Music, also at McGill, he was awarded the prestigious four-year Seymour Schulich Scholarship, and he earned the top distinction of Outstanding Achievement in Jazz Saxophone. Evan was a member of the McGill Jazz Orchestra I for three years, and the McGill Chamber Jazz Ensemble. In 2017, Evan was named one of the “35 Best Canadian Jazz Artists Under 35” by CBC Music

Edouard Nesvijski
Edouard has been a jazz music lover since high school playing alto, tenor and baritone saxophones, flute and clarinet. Later played in Dmitry Dmitrenko Big Band, Illiya Gass Big Band and with Vadim Korsak Group (now known as “Musical Laboratory”) in Kiev Ukraine and Laci Olah Big Band in Moscow, Russia for several years. Then persuade his career in acoustic research and computer aided modeling and engineering design. Has returned to playing jazz with friends at home studio four years ago. Participated as invited guest in “Autumn Jazz Marathon” International Jazz Fest in Kiev, Ukraine in November 2016.

Mark Lewis

Seattle area native Mark Lewis is a well-traveled saxophonist and flutist who has created a large body of jazz music over the past four decades. He’s been a part of jazz scenes from Seattle and San Francisco to Rotterdam and Paris. His latest album, Naked Animals, was recorded in 1990 with his Quartet from the Netherlands. It's an important historical recording of a working neo-bop Quartet that had an enthusiastic following for more than a decade. His 2017 release The New York Session features piano legend George Cables, veteran bassist Essiet Essiet and drummer Victor Lewis. Mark was rated number two for alto saxophone (after Richie Cole) and number three for flute (after Charles Lloyd and Hubert Laws) in the 39th Annual Jazz Station Awards for his work on this album.
