Allan Meyerson
Allan Meyerson has been playing and teaching saxophone, flute and clarinet for 55 years. He is an accomplished classical as well as jazz and blues musician. His first professional jobs in the late 60’s were playing in the show bands of the many hotels in New York with as many as 5 different acts a night. Sight reading and being able to switch styles were a must and taught him valuable lessons in musicianship. Growing up in NYC gave him an opportunity to study with the best musicians in the world. Grant Larson
An active recitalist and proponent of new music, saxophonist Grant Larson has premiered works for saxophone by Philip Wharton, Chiayu Hsu, Steven Makala, and John Drumheller at regional and national conventions. He is the soprano saxophonist with the Colorado-based Chautauqua Saxophone Quartet and has performed with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, the Colorado Music Festival Orchestra, the Chippewa Valley Symphony Orchestra, and the Fargo/Moorhead Symphony Orchestra. About J Sylvester Joseph Sylvester Davis III was born in Danville, Illinois. Having grown up in a ministers household, Joseph started playing drums and saxophone in the church band at the age of 11. As saxophone began to gain more of his interest, he pursued the learning of that instrument throughout junior high school into high school. In 1985 he made the decision to move to Memphis, TN with his mother. This was the beginning of his journey to learning what playing the saxophone truly meant. Joseph soon learned music theory from his high school band director Mr. Walter Banks. Although being offered several different musical scholarships from various schools, Joseph made the decision to join the US Marine Corps

Josh Lee is a multi-instrumentalist who specializes in soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophones. Lee, the son of a medical doctor who is also a saxophonist, is a graduate of Temple University - Boyer College of Music. Josh Lee has performed with ensembles like Jazz Orchestra of Philadelphia, Norman David and the Eleventet and the New York Classics. He is co-founder of Jazz Lives Philadelphia and leads Josh Lee and the Family, The Life Brass Band and the Jazz Lives Philadelphia Big Band. Josh Lee is currently baritone saxophonist for the Count Basie Orchestra.
