Born and raised in the South Bronx of New York City, Reggie came from a very musical family and was spoon-fed various styles of music including the unorthodox sounds of Parliament Funkadelic, the never ending grooves of the “Godfather of Soul”, James Brown, the innovative transitions of Miles Davis and the conventional sounds of southern gospel. Jim Cutler

Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, Jim began playing the clarinet at age 10, and by age 12 had started playing along with solos by Benny Goodman, Arte Shaw, and Jimmy Dorsey from his parents' record collection. By age 14 he knew he had a passion for jazz, so he borrowed his older brother's tenor sax and auditioned for his Junior High stage band, and within a year went from copying the solos of jazz greats to improvising his own. By high school, he was fully involved in music, performing in the jazz ensemble, orchestra, and choirs. Receiving both music and academic scholarships, Jim was accepted in the University of Utah's jazz studies program, and graduated in 1986 with emphasis in jazz composition

Scott Vicroy came to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln after a year of graduate studies at North Texas State to work as a jazz graduate assistant. That was 25 years ago and he never left. Since then Scott has had the opportunity to work in a wide range of musical settings as a freelance woodwind performer. His first gig after arriving in Lincoln was with the then Neo-Classic Jazz Orchestra. Many playing opportunities arose after that ranging from pit orchestras for touring broadway productions and symphony pops concerts in Omaha and Lincoln. Bernardo Padrón

Bernardo Padrón (leader / composer / saxophone / flute / percussion) …was born in Caracas, Venezuela and raised in Ottawa. After graduating from the University of Toronto's Faculty of Music Performance program in 1987, Bernardo moved to Caracas where played with Venezuela's top pop and jazz artists (Frank Quintero, Kara, Luz Marina, Biela DaCosta, and Martes 8:30, among others). There, he recorded and his first CD of original compositions entitled “Seadance", released in 2001. The lyrical "Seadance", now in its second edition, has been very well received and continues to get airplay on National jazz radio stations. Since his return to Toronto in 2003, Bernardo has led several groups, playing his original compositions at jazz clubs in Toronto and Ottawa
