Nigerian-born, London-raised, and Brooklyn-based Zem Audu is an award winning saxophonist, composer and producer with a fresh sound that blends contemporary jazz, and soulful grooves. In 2008 whilst still living in London he won 1st place in the Worshipful Company Of Musicians Jazz Competition. He was nominated for a Parliamentary Jazz award for Best Jazz Saxophonist, and was awarded the Yamaha Jazz Scholars prize. His musical journey began at childhood when he taught himself classical guitar and piano before choosing the saxophone as his main form of expression. Then he studied independently with Courtney Pine, and with Jean Toussaint at Trinity College of Music, graduating top of his class in 2008

Filippo Bianchini

Filippo Bianchini was born in Orvieto, Italy, but he lives from 0 to 8 years in Rome. Thanks to the father's collection of LP and a family friend, Alberto Casasoli, began studying music at 7 years hold. At 10,he started playing the tenor saxophone. Shortly after, he began his first lessons of sax with Mauro Verrone, who introduced him to the great music of Charlie Parker, Lester Young, Sonny Rollins, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Massimo Urbani and many others.
At 18 years hold, he starts the class of Saxophone with Mario Raja at the Conservatory F.Morlacchi of Perugia, where he graduated in 2007, obtaining the highest marks (10/10). In September 2007 he moved to Netherlands in the city of The Hague to gets a specialization at the Royal Conservatory of Den Haag. Here, he has the opportunity to study with one of the greatest european musicians: the american saxophonist and clarinetist John Ruocco.

Born in Matera in 1978, Gianfranco Menzella gained the degree in saxophone in 2000 at the Conservatory "E.Duni" in Matera, with Maestro Vito Soranno , getting the highest marks with honors. In 2004 he also gained the degree in jazz music at the Conservatory "T.Schipa" in Lecce, with Maestro Luigi Bubbico. He has taken part in several national and international contests, getting nine first prizes and three second prizes. Jacob Munk Nielsen comes from a musically family. His father is a talented amateur drummer and all of his tree siblings have attended the local musicschool, so music were very much a big part of everyday life in the family. At a young age he started playing the recorder and after a short ‘encounter ‘with the trumpet, he moved to the alto saxophone and right away felt at home on the instrument. Throughout his teens he played with local groups and studied at different saxophone players amongst others the renowned Danish tenor saxophonist Lars Møller.
