One of Israel’s busiest reed players and band leaders in the world/jazz/indie scene, Eyal Talmudi has been touring with Balkan Beat Box, Kutiman Orchestra and Oy Division for the past decade and working with other projects including Malox and Time Groove. Influenced by music including folk, punk and jazz, Talmudi brings his creativity and groove to everything he plays. Talmudi’s adventurous Chant Records debut features Sefi Zisling on trumpet, Uzi Feinerman on guitar, Gilad Abro on bass and Aviv Cohen on drums. Eyal Talmudi born in Israel 1979 , plays Saxophone and Clarinet since the age of 8 . Classical and Jazz training along alternative , experimental and rock scene has made Talmudi into a multi genre musician leading world wide career with many different bands and ensembles . EASTEND MILE IS AN ALTERNATIVE JAZZ GROUP DEDICATED TO BRINGING A UNIQUE SONIC EXPERIENCE MELDING INNOVATION AND SELF-EXPRESSION TO AUDIENCES. Eastend Mile was formed in 2013 after Pittsburgh saxophonist Roger Romero and pianist Caleb Lombardi realized they shared a musical vision of creating a contemporary jazz sound for a new generation. Equally influenced by artists like Robert Glasper and Brian Blade, the band recorded their first album, City Limits. After a short hiatus, musicians Dhruva Krishna and Chris “Tiggy” Thygesen joined the lineup adding a new, harder dimension to the band’s expanding sound. In the summer of 2015, the band embarked on a six-city four-state tour of support of City Limits to rave reviews

Johannes Gammelgaard Lauritsen

Johannes Gammelgaard Lauritsen was born in Aalborg, Denmark, and grew up in a home with piano, a guitar and several flutes. He showed interest in music early on and started playing the saxophone at age 10. In 3rd grade he joined the school bigband with which he travelled to play in Germany and twice in the USA. This made a great impact on him, and he decided to continue his music studies.
In 10th grade he attended a boarding school focusing solely on music. Here he initiated his first jazz quartet with which he played for several years and won a number of music competitions for young bands in Denmark

Shaun Rammers

Shaun Rammers is a saxophonist and composer who is a part of the jazz and improvised music scene in Australia. Shaun released two albums as a leader and co- leader in 2017. He relocated to Melbourne in 2014 after graduating from the WA Academy of Performing Arts with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance with Honours. Shaun had the privilege of studying with Jamie Oehlers and Tom O’Halloran during his four years at WAAPA, along with many special guest teachers along the way. These included Dave Ades, Ben Wendel, George Garzone and Steve Magnusson. He has also been involved in numerous workshopping events, with highlights including the School for Improvisation at New York University run by Ralph Alessi in 2011 and the Creative Music Intensive run by the Australian Art Orchestra in 2015. “LIVE” is the first album released by the Shaun Rammers Quintet and features seven original compositions

In college, sparked by his new interests in recording and creating original music, he began to pick up other instruments such as piano, organ, saxophone and then later, flute and bass. In 2016, after graduating college, he moved to Chicago, Illinois. In the span of just a year, he has managed to work in a variety of genres, from indie, southern, progressive rock, jazz, neo soul, funk, rap, pop, psychedelic, electronic and modern experimental styles with a constantly changing cast of musicians

Former winner of the Daily Telegraph Young Jazz Musician of the Year competition, Dom Franks is a versatile musician, teacher and composer based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Following a spell with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, Dom studied on the Postgraduate Jazz course at London’s Guildhall School of Music with former Jazz Messenger Jean Toussaint and saxophonist Stan Sulzmann. Since then he has headed up promotions at London’s Jazz Café, and worked as manager and music booker at the Vortex Jazz Club in Dalston. At the same time he has maintained a busy career as a freelance session musician, bandleader and teacher.

Aaron Quarterman, Jr. aka "Aaron Qman" has been playing the saxophone since he was nine years old. From his very first solo, Aaron decided that this is what he wanted to do with his life. Born in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, Aaron first started playing the alto saxophone in 4th grade. In 7th grade, he decided to switch to the tenor saxophone and hasn't looked back. He received private lessons from the late Mr. James Kilik of Settlement Music School. Aaron Quarterman, Jr. was very inspired after listening to Charlie Parker growing up. As he got older, he started to listen to James Carter, John Coltrane, Lenny Pickett and Michael Brecker

Francesco Geminiani

Tenor Saxophonist and composer Francesco Geminiani comes from beautiful Verona (IT) before moving to Switzerland, NYC and Paris. An endless musical curiosity drives him across styles and melodies, sharing the stage with great human beings across the New and the Old World. Inspired by the masters, he embraces impressionism to connect with the curious listener. In March 2018 "Auand records" released his album “Colorsound”, this work has been entirely recorded and produced in New York City with some of the best up and coming young musicians: Rick Rosato on Bass and Mark Schilders on drums. His second Album “Red Sky, Blue Water” has been released in the spring of 2021 by “Fresh Sound New Talent”

Getatchew Mekurya

Mekurya was born on 14 March 1935, in Yifat, Ethiopia. He began his musical studies on traditional Ethiopian instruments such as the krar and the masenqo, and later moved on to the saxophone and clarinet. Upon reaching adolescence, he began his professional career in 1949 as a part of the Municipality Band in Addis Ababa. In 1955 he joined the house band at Addis' Haile Selassie Theatre, and in 1965 joined the famous Police Orchestra. He was also one of the first musicians to record an instrumental version of shellela, a genre of traditional Ethiopian vocal music sung by warriors before going into battle
