Ted Hefko and The Thousandaires encompasses the full range of his musical experiences and talents, with Ted strumming a guitar while he sings his original lyrics before switching to tenor sax or clarinet for his solos. After several years living in Brooklyn, writing, touring and recording, Ted is happy to once again reside in his musical home: New Orleans, Louisiana. His latest album Distillations of The Blues is playing all over North America and the English speaking world and he’s looking forward to taking his new line-up on tour in 2016. Marcus Wolfe

Marcus Wolfe is a saxophonist, composer and educator who lives and works in the Chicago area. He has served as a member of the music faculty at Triton College in River Grove, Illinois where he taught Music Appreciation and directed the Triton College Jazz Ensemble. A native of Missouri, Mr. Wolfe earned his bachelor's degree in music and his master's degree in jazz studies from the University of North Texas. He is currently pursuing a DMA at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Mr. Wolfe invented the basic dice game while preparing for a proficiency examination during his undergraduate studies

Sean Nowell

Sean Nowell is a tenor saxophonist and composer from Birmingham, Alabama steeped in the southern traditions of blues, gospel, jazz, and funk fused with the complex harmonic and world rhythmic concepts that permeate the music of New York City. While in Alabama, he sang in cathedrals with a national touring a cappella choir and was exposed to vocal music from Germany, Eastern Europe, and Africa. He received a BA in Composition from Berklee College of Music in Boston in Jazz Composition and a MA from Manhattan School of Music in New York in Performance. He has composed and improvised film scores, music for ballet and theatre, 20th century classical music, big band, and small jazz ensembles and has pushed the timbral boundaries of the saxophone, flute, bass clarinet, and Udu (Nigerian clay pot drum) by integrating electronic effects pedals with those acoustic instruments

Andrew Lamb

ANDREW LAMB (saxophones, flutes) was born in Clinton, North Carolina and grew up in Chicago and in South Jamaica, Queens. Having studied with AACM charter member Kalaparush Maurice McIntyre, Mr. Lamb came into New York’s "avant-garde" community in the ’70s, becoming an active presence in the vibrant Bedford-Stuyvesant arts world at that time, and winning a Brooklyn Arts Council grant. In 1994, he composed all the pieces on his first leader recording, "Portrait in the Mist" (Delmark), which featured vibraphonist Warren Smith, bassist Wilber Morris, and drummer Andrei Strobert. Andrew Lamb has since recorded duets with Warren Smith ("Duet," WISland, ’99 and "The Dogon Duo," Engine Studios, '05) and "Dance of the Prophet," a trio recording with Eugene Cooper and Andrei Strobert (Kiki Records)

Josh is a saxophonist and recently relocated to Fredericksburg, VA from Okinawa, Japan. He attended Northern Arizona University and earned a Bachelor of Music. While at NAU he studied with saxophonist Wildy Zumwalt, Dr. Peter Vivona, and Joel Dibartolo. As a member of the NAU Jazz Ensemble, Josh performed with Bill Watrous, Don Menza, Marvin Stamm, and Ernie Watts. He recorded two CD's with the band on Sea Breeze Records and they took top prize in 1995 and 1996 at the Fullerton College Jazz Festival. CV Fredrik Ljungkvist Fredrik Ljungkvist was born in Kristinehamn in Sweden 1969. Brought up in a musical home (his father is a saxophoneplayer as well) he early chosed the path to music. He moved to Stockholm -89 to studie at the Royal Academy of Music and played with some of the leading bands in Stockholm as, Fredrik Norén Band, Lina Nyberg group and Per "Texas" Johansson band. In 1993 he formed his own group (Fredrik Ljungkvist quartet) that also released two CDs (Falling papers 1995 and Sonic space 1997). Fredrik Ljungkvist is considered one of Swedens most talented and interesting saxophoneplayers right now
