Björn Dahlberg is a Swedish musician, best known for his saxophone & clarinet work. Born outside of Stockholm Björn started playing piano at the age of 5 and clarinet at the age of 11. While studying classical clarinet he fell in love with the music of Paul Desmond, Wayne Shorter, Chick Corea & Miles Davies and picked up the saxophon. Focusing at first on the Baritone and Soprano sax (studying soprano with master musician Cenneth Jönsson) he added tenor to his collection and found his voice and began his studies at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. Saxophonist, flutist and composer/arranger Kris Jensen is a versatile musician that resides in Connecticut, USA. He is associated with many well known acts in jazz and rock including the Allman Brothers Band and it's individual members' bands (Gregg Allman and Friends, Jaimoe's Jasssz Band, Dickey Betts Band) trumpet legend Maynard Ferguson and members of Connecticut's world class jazz community including Mark Templeton, Nat Reeves, Steve Davis, Phil Bowler, Jesse "Cheese" Hameen, Rohn Lawrence and others. Jensen both attended the University of Hartford and taught there under the auspices of jazz saxophone legend Jackie McLean.

He is currently a member of the multi Grammy award-winning Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra, and he has made internationally televised appearances with pop icons like Taylor Swift, Don Henley and Phillip Phillips. Chad has toured across the globe as a soloist and with many esteemed jazz artists, including Arturo O’Farrill and Clarence Penn. A native of Elmira, New York, Chad established himself as a jazz prodigy at age 11, performing throughout New York State under the mentorship of local jazz hero, George Reed, who was known for backing legends like Teddy Wilson, Buddy Tate, and Marian McPartland. Stefano Ferrian is an italian musician, composer and improviser based in Novara, in the north-west part of Italy. He plays guitars since the age of 9 studying various genres like Classical, Blues, Rock, Fusion, Funky and Avantgarde techniques. He’s one of the former member of the Italian well known avant-core band .psychofagist. He had also collaborated with a lot of different bands like; Udus, Ephel Duath, Insane Assholes, Hunab Ku, ETB, Mombu, The True Endless and in the folk project Skoll. After more than a decade playing in extreme/experimental bands he starts studying Saxophones. Right now he’s involved as guitarist/saxophonist in the field of European Radical Improvisation, Jazz and Experimental/Extreme projects

Willow Neilson

Born:
Willow Neilson was born in the small hippy town of Nimbin, Australia. His parents were entertainers and environmental activists, Willow spent the early years of his life marching in protests or sleeping in his father’s velvet lined guitar case whilst his parents performed their original musical and theatrical satires. At ten years old he took up the harmonica, practicing blues music with his father in their living room. At 14 he began the saxophone and fell in love with jazz music. Willow Neilson went on to graduate as one of the top three students in his year at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music then took out third place in three international competitions; Jazz Hoelaart International Competition in Brussels in 2001, Montreaux Jazz Festival Saxophone Competition 2003 and London Jazz Festival Saxophone Competition 2004 both run by the White foundation. After many years of performing with some of Australia’s top musicians, Willow travelled Europe and the US performing and studying, finally settling in Shanghai in 2007 with the support of an Asialink Arts Residency/ China-Australia council Fellowship which aided him in the beginning stages of musical projects working with Chinese ethnic minority musicians and local Shanghai artists such as Coco Zhao. Willow recently released his latest album, Lightbulb Life
