I started my music education when I was 5 years old, in Regional Conservatory of Coimbra. A couple of years later I begun to play piano in a private school in Coimbra and changed to guitar when I was 14 years old, after my piano teacher moved to another city. I had guitar lessons at 16 years old in another private school, AMTC. At secondary school I played acoustic guitar with two more friends in school parties. I went to study Environmental Sciences at Évora University in 1997 and changed to Vila Real to study Environmental Engineering (1998-2004).
