Royston

Royston hails from a little remote, Aboriginal community in Far North Queensland called Old Mapoon. In his youth, Royston grew up surrounded by nature and was very observant and tuned in to what he heard and saw. His passion for singing was ignited from early childhood, by a popular teen movie called High School Musical (HSM). After watching HSM, Royston immediately developed a robust thirst for music and singing and knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life dedicated to it. It wasn’t until Royston was in high school where he watched the countless award-winning movie 'The Sapphires', which ultimately allowed him to connect and be inspired by the amazing Jessica Mauboy
