Rodrigo Nassif is one of the finest guitar players in Brazil. He was awarded the best instrumental performer Açorianos Prize in 2009, one of the most important prize in Brazil. Recently he was labelled by UOL música as “a national reference for Brazilian instrumental music”. He released three albums before forming his quartet, selling over five thousand copies. Rodrigo style has been classified as jazzmilonga, mixing-folk influenced by chamamé, tango-milonga with several other components of classical guitar. Rodrigo is used to play in the best stages of Brazil , such as Blue Note Club RJ , and Sesc Pompéia in São Paulo.
