Born:

Born in the UK, Rebecca spent her formative years learning classical piano, voice and alto saxophone becoming an active participant in local choirs, bands and winning festivals. During her early teens, Rebecca discovered her love for jazz on a cinema trip to see “When Harry Met Sally” with the voices of Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald interjected throughout the film. She then began to explore other jazz greats such as Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Nina Simone and Sarah Vaughan, as well as many soul legends such as Stevie Wonder, Sam Cooke, Otis Redding and Aretha Franklin.
