Raymond is a composer and saxophonist. He is one half of the post-fusion group Astrakan and is the saxophonist for the soul, groove and funk band The Groove Primitive. In December 2025 he released the album 'Just After You Left....' by The Dreaming Spiders, a free jazz collaboration with the drummer and percussionist Les Webb.
