Phil Ravita

One of the Mid-Atlantic’s most versatile and sought after bassists, Phil Ravita leads Ravita Jazz and appears with many other jazz and classical ensembles and orchestras. He is also a college professor and host of a weekly radio program on WMTB 89.9 FM. Tune in Mondays at 7 PM EST.

He has shared the stage with such jazz greats as Jimmy Heath, Bobby Shew, Claudio Roditi and Ruby Glover, appearing in countless clubs, concert halls and festivals. He can be heard on numerous recordings and recently won critical acclaim for his work with Grasso-Ravita Jazz Ensemble and the group’s highly praised 2021 recording, Jagged Spaces.

Mike Murray is a guitarist, composer, bandleader and music educator based in Toronto, ON, Canada. Proficient in a wide variety of styles including popular styles, rock, classical, jazz, blues, musical theater, as well as international styles including latin folk, Indian music and more, he performs and records with a diverse array of artists and organizations in many different settings. He also composes and performs his own music with the Mike Murray Group, and performs solo classical guitar for events and functions. Born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Mike did not come from a musical family and was a relative latecomer to the guitar, picking it up at age 16

From sitting in on drums at an L.A. jazz club at age nine to jamming with  Gilby Clarke  (former Guns ‘N Roses guitarist) in his older brother’s band at 11, Brian Eaton found the spark that ignited his passion in a pair of sticks at an early age. The Allegra Drums Artist, musician, composer/songwriter, engineer, and producer has gone on to be a multi-genre force in jazz fusion, prog, and rock, who uses the studio as the ultimate instrument to wield his imaginative creativity. Eaton has been featured in Bass Musician MagazineAll About JazzWorld of Jazz, and more, and has received praise from jazz greats {{m: Jean-Luc Ponty = 10360}}, {{m: Paul Wertico = 13447}} ({{m: Pat Metheny Group = 136726}}), and {{m: Frank Catalano = 16992}}.

Tomaž Hostnik

Tomaž Hostnik (1992) is the author of more than seventy compositions, including whole opuses with music bands Pigs Love Pork, Drajnarjuva Vampa, Hostnik pa Krečič, Vudlenderji, music for kids, films, theatre, etc. He visited the Anton Bruckner Private University for Music, Drama and Dance in Linz, where he graduated with honours in March 2018, receiving a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance. He received first place at the 14th International Songwriting Competition (Kantfest), his song “Irena” received the most telephone votes on the 39th MMS festival (Melodie del Mare e del Sole), and he received the first award for the best lyrics at the Slovenian Song Festival 2019

Joseph Mammarella

Joseph's music is heavily influenced by fusion greats like the Tony Williams Lifetime, Chick Corea, and Steps Ahead. He pays homage to the past legends while creating music for the future with captivating grooves and powerful solos. Joseph's debut album "Unleashed" will be released on all platforms July 22nd. Joseph was born in Ontario, Canada, and grew up just outside of Portland, Oregon. The son of a classical pianist, he was introduced to music at a young age and quickly took to the guitar. In high school, Joseph signed up for every music class he could, and decided to continue his education at Portland State University. At PSU, Joseph studied under jazz greats George Colligan and Darrell Grant, and in 2019 he earned a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies

I had the advantage in that my childhood was in the 1970s, which I believe the best stage in the music's rock history, and was the epoca of the 'super bands' or so-called 'progressive Rock' or 'symphonic Rock.' It was a time of a lot of creativity, and inspiration. The lyrics of the songs expressed concepts of life, histories and fantasies each 'disc' was a musical work. I believe that all this influenced in my taste and passion for music. That was a time that I listened to bands like Yes, Pink Floyd, EL&P, Genesis, Supertramp, Jethro Tull and others. The current of the Jazz-rock or Fusion also began to emerge from the hands of musicians like Chick Korea, Al Diemola, whom I liked very much like how he played
