Robert Prester is an American jazz pianist and composer who began his career in the New York City jazz scene and is now based in Philadelphia. He is known for his instrumental jazz album of original music, Dogtown, and for Quenara, a duo recording with vocalist Adriana Samargia. Prester has performed and recorded extensively in both classical and jazz settings—from solo piano recitals and chamber ensembles to straight-ahead jazz, Latin jazz, and Brazilian jazz groups.
