Dennis Hamm

Pianist, composer, teacher, Dennis Hamm began playing professionally at age 18 and has since worked with a diverse mix of artists. The albums Hamm appears on are a testament to his versatility. In the last three years Hamm was featured on albums as varied as MTV's Rock the Cradle winner Crosby Loggins' (son of Kenny Loggins) Indy Pop/Rock album "We All Go Home", the Prog-Rock Jazz Fusion of guitarist Greg Howe's "Sound Proof", in support of which Hamm toured Europe in late 2008, Katisse Buckingham's genre bending mix of hip-hop and modern jazz on "Lyrical Worker", and an upcoming modern country release by American Idol finalist Amy Adams, which Hamm also produced. Rich Harney

Born: June 7, 1954

Rich Harney has been illuminating the Austin jazz scene as one of its brightest stars for the last decade. His remarkable talents as pianist, composer, and vocalist have gained him acclaim from the Austin American-Statesman as “one of Austin’s most valuable musical resources.” The Austin Jazz Players and Critics Poll honored him in 1993 as Composer of the Year, Best Songwriter, and Best Male Jazz Vocalist. He also received second place honors in the Austin Music Umbrella’s 1992 Composer Competition. In a 1990 competition adjudicated by Branford Marsalis, MUSICIAN Magazine named Harney’s Sextet as one of the “Twelve Best Unsigned Bands Nationwide”.Harney has performed extensively as band leader and ensemble pianist with Gene Ramey, Tony Campise, Carmen Bradford (Count Basie Orchestra), Martin Banks (Duke Ellington Orchestra), Clifford Scott and Ted Piltzecker (Director, Aspen Music Festival’s Jazz Program)

Jim E. Holman

Pianist Jim Holman grew up performing in the chicago's finest jazz clubs since he was sixteen. he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh's jazz studies program under the tutelage of Jazz Messenger alums Nathan Davis and Leon Lee Dorsey as well as Frank Cunimondo. Tuomo Uusitalo

Tuomo Uusitalo is an award-winning pianist, composer, arranger and educator. Having released 6 albums as a leader, and appearing on numerous albums as a sideman, he has established himself in the New York jazz scene, and continues touring internationally both as a leader as well as sideman.

Currently Tuomo resides in Helsinki, Finland.

Born in Tampere, Finland, Tuomo Uusitalo started to play piano at the age of 6.  As a teenager he played different types of music from classical to pop/rock, and soon became fascinated by Jazz and the thrilling possibilities of spontaneous improvisation. 

Walter Kemp 3

Viscount-endorsed artist, Walter Kemp 3 owes much to his father, a classical and gospel composer, who sparked Kemp's early interest in piano. Seeing and hearing his father's compositions performed at Carnegie Hall, opened Kemp's eyes to a world of music. He soon began studying classical piano. Keith Brown

Born: August 13, 1983

Keith L. Brown is an accomplished composer, educator, and pianist, who has established himself as one of the most sought-after pianists in contemporary jazz. He was born in Memphis, TN, and raised in Knoxville, TN, where he began playing piano and bass at a young age. Keith grew up in a musically inclined family, where both his parents were musicians, and many of his aunts and uncles possessed exceptional musical talent. His father, Donald Brown, is a world-renowned jazz pianist/composer, having performed with many greats, and his mother, Dorothy, is also a pianist who plays various woodwind instruments.

Paul Joseph

The Paul Joseph Quartet is known for its unique jazz arrangements of classical music, as exemplified in their performance with New York’s Nova Philharmonic of Mozart Meets Jazz. Greg Goebel

Greg Goebel was born in Oregon and began playing piano and composing music from an early age. Upon graduation from the University of Oregon, the school said of his achievements, “Greg has personally done more to elevate the performance level of our jazz students than any other person, graduate or undergraduate, who has attended the U of O in at least the last fifteen years.” While at the University of Oregon, he received numerous awards including a Composition award in Downbeat Magazine. Greg then moved to Portland, OR where he quickly became one of the most in demand pianists in the area
