Fabrizio Puglisi

Fabrizio Puglisi is a pianist and composer. In 1987 he began studying at DAMS (Department of Art, Music and Performing Arts) in Bologna, where he currently lives. In 1995 he graduated with honors, writing a thesis about Cecil Taylor. From 1997 to 2003 he spent long periods of time in Amsterdam, where he collaborated with such musicians as Tristan Honsinger, Han Bennink, Ernst Glerum, Ab Baars, Sean Bergin, Ernst Reijseger, Tobias Delius, and the Tetzepi big band. Rich Iacona

Mircea Tiberian

Born: May 4, 1955

Mircea Tiberian is a jazz musician and professor of music at the National University of Music in Bucharest. He coordinates the Jazz Department, which he set up in 1991. Tiberian spent his childhood and adolescence in Sibiu, Transylvania where he made his debut at the International Jazz Festival in 1974. He holds a doctorate in music. He currently lives in Bucharest. He has performed the world over with such musicians as Larry Coryell, Tomasz Stanko, Herb Robertson, John Betsch, Ed Shuller, Nicholas Simion, Adam Pieronczyk, Maurice de Martin, Theo Jörgensmann and the Romanians Johnny Raducanu, Aura Urziceanu, Anca Parghel and Dan Mandrila.

Rob Stringer

Rob Stringer started playing on the North West Jazz scene around 2004, after studying music at University in Liverpool. He took lessons with highly regarded UK jazz pianist Les Chisnall and also studied piano technique in New York with Eleanor Hancock of the Taubman Institute. Rob currently tours extensively across Europe and North America, with ‘Brit Floyd’, a Pink Floyd stage production. He also has his own jazz group, the Bobby Swing Band, in which he sings and plays piano, and in which the other members of The Weave have performed. He has done much session studio and live work and appearances include Later with Jools Holland, BBC Radio 2 Jonathan Ross and Mark Lamarr shows. A real highlight for Rob was performing at Stella McCartney’s 08 Fashion Show to an audience including Sir Paul McCartney, Yoko Ono, Olivia Harrison and Sir George Martin all seated in the front row!

Zoltan Szigeti is a Hungarian-born pianist, composer, and educator, specializing in jazz. He is recently working as a university faculty member at the Southwest Associated University School of Music and Dance Art China - as an Associate Professor of Piano, and he is a mentor at the Berklee College of Music Online Extension School (Boston, USA). Zoltan is holding the "Foreign Expert in China" certificate, issued by Government of China and participates as a clinician by holding performances and masterclasses in different colleges and music institutions across South West China, teaching piano, music theory, and harmony, judging piano competitions and music competitions contests

Terence Koo

Terence Koo is an Australian jazz pianist, composer, lecturer, teacher and recording artist. Born in Singapore, Terence holds a Master of Arts (Music), a Bachelor of Music, First Class Honours, the University Medal, an A.MUS.A. and a number of University scholarships and prizes. Terence grew up in Tamworth, regional New South Wales, where he completed all his classical piano grades, and gained his Associate of Music (A.Mus.A.) aged fifteen. He came sixth in the state for music in his Higher School Certificate, and worked as a computer technician before moving to Newcastle to study music at the University Conservatorium
