Soner Ersen is a London-based jazz pianist, composer, and educator with over 20 years of international experience. He has made significant contributions to numerous projects in roles such as pianist, keyboardist, composer, and educator.

Soner Ersen earned a BA Honours in Jazz and a PGCE in Music from Middlesex University. Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of studying under renowned jazz performers and educators in the UK, including Chris Batchelor, Rob Townsend, Nikki Iles, Garrett Williams, and Steve Rose. Furthermore, he has had the honor of performing alongside esteemed British jazz musicians such as Jim Mullen, Mark Mondesir, Clark Tracy, Mark Lockheart, Tony Kofi, Nigel Price, and Benet Mclean.

Sheldon Zandboer

Sheldon Zandboer is a native of Edmonton, Alberta, and began studying classical piano at the age of four. He studied for 16 years with Gloria Saarinen, Charles Foreman, and Marilyn Engles. He was awarded 1st Prize, three years in a row in the ‘Open Jazz’ category at the Calgary Kiwanis Music Festival. Sheldon first established his musical reputation as a talent into Calgary by working on live to air TV shows with the CBC and CFCN, leading a jazz trio, and also as a multi-keyboardist with the Calgary Stampede “Young Canadians” while still in his teens. Sheldon studied Music Performance/Composition at the University of Calgary before moving to Toronto to study at the highly acclaimed Humber College in the Applied Arts Jazz Program

Pianist Matt DeChamplain grew up in Wethersfield, Connecticut. He originally learned about music from a player piano. “My grandparents had a player piano, and I spent hours studying classic compositions, arrangements and solos by by Fats Waller, James P. Johnson, Jelly Roll Morton and others. These were masterful pianists, composers and arrangers & I was fascinated by their musicality. They showed remarkable creativity and innovation. Pedro Neves is a prolific Portuguese jazz pianist and composer, well-known for his acclaimed albums, as a leader of his piano trio or for his contribution to the work of many fellow musicians.

Vagelis Stefanopoulos devoted himself to music from a very young age studying piano, violin, composition and self tought in electric guitar. He later on went to study classical piano performance under the guidance of acclaimed pianist and professor Yonty Solomon at Trinity College of Music in London UK.

During his studies he divided his time between classical piano performance and jazz composition and improvisation. Since his graduation in 2003 he has been working as a session musician with various ensembles spanning from Afro beat and Latin Jazz to straight ahead and from experimental electronic to mainstream pop and crossover projects.

Claudio Filippini

Born in Pescara (Italy) in 1982, the young pianist Claudio Filippini graduated at the Conservatory “GB Pergolesi” in Fermo. During his studies he met musicians like Kenny Barron, George Cables, Jimmy Owens, Joey Calderazzo, Enrico Pieranunzi, Franco D’Andrea, Otmar Ruiz, Stefano Bollani, Stefano Battaglia. At 17 he won his first scholarship to Columbia College of Music in Chicago, followed by scholarships to the Siena Jazz Seminars and Workshops in 2000, We Love Jazz with Kenny Barron in 2001, as well as 1st prize winner of the European Competition for Piano Solo - Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe 2002, and the Massimo Urbani Award 2003 (Jury and Audience)

Konrad Paszkudzki

Born in Western Australia to Polish immigrant parents, Konrad’s musical affinity and passion for jazz piano revealed itself early on. He was accepted into university at the tender age of 15, and finished his undergraduate degree at 18. The precocious instrumentalist swiftly established a reputation as a leading jazzman in Australia, soon becoming the first pianist to win the James Morrison Scholarship in 2008. Relocating to the United States in 2009, he received his master’s degree in 2011 on full scholarship from the University of Miami. Upon graduation, he spent a year in Los Angeles playing piano with the likes of the Clayton/Hamilton Jazz Orchestra and the Jeff Hamilton Trio
