Marce Palos

Born: June 30, 1947

MARCE PALOS Originally from Illinois, Marce Palos received his musical education in Chicago. He attended the Sherwood Music School and the University of Chicago from which he received a Bachelor Degree in Piano Performance. Subsequently, he went on to do graduate work at Northwestern University School of Music in piano performance and pedagogy. His fondness of classical music is only exceeded by his preference for jazz which affords him opportunities for creative improvisation and arranging. Mr. Palos is at ease in most any performance format, but prefers a trio or quartet ensemble. Andrei Razin

Graduate of the Moscow Conservatory, composer, pianist and arranger, Laureate of the National Festival "Art of the Young", Laureate of the National Competition of Young Composers, Member of the Russian Union of Composers, Andrei Razin was destined for the career of an academic musician, but his creative interests have a much wider range. He produced music scores for the theatrical performances, modern chamber instrumental and vocal music, jazz compositions, music for TV shows and advertisement videos, symphonic music. Born: December 20, 1990

Matthew is a 23-year-old Seattle jazz pianist who performs locally, teaches, and writes original music. His compositions are deeply emotional and always lyrical. He gets part of his inspiration from what he hears in the world, which is quite a bit more than the rest of us. Matthew is a synesthete who hears an extra layer of sound with everything that moves in his visual field and every motion of his body. When asked where he got a complex interweaving rhythm for one of his pieces, he replied that it was from the sound that a maple seed makes as it spins to the ground, combined with the sound he hears from his own footsteps
