Vasil Hadzimanov

Born: June 23, 1973

Vasil’s concept of mixing Balkan traditional, folk rhythms and melodies with modern musical styles (most originating from the west, including: jazz; funk; avant garde; electronica; rock; trance; and more) has been the impetus for creating his own unique "musical hybrid," of sorts. This sophisticated sonic stew is completely original, authentic and embraces a bold new approach to musical expression within the context of the fusion and jazz genres.

It was this vision that inspired him to form The Vasil Hadzimanov Band, back in 1995 — when they made their first recordings and began performing live.

Frank Strazzeri

Born: April 24, 1930

Frank Strazzeri was an American jazz pianist. He was born in Rochester, New York. Strazzeri began on tenor saxophone and clarinet at age 12, then switched to piano soon after. He attended the Eastman School of Music, then took a job as a house pianist in a nightclub in Rochester in 1952. While there he accompanied visiting musicians such as Roy Eldridge and Billie Holiday. He relocated to New Orleans in 1954, playing with Sharkey Bonano and Al Hirt in a Dixieland jazz setting, but his main focus since has been bebop. He played with Charlie Ventura in 1957-58 and Woody Herman in 1959 before moving to Los Angeles in 1960

Yusuke Seki

Born: January 15, 1985

Yusuke was born on Jan15,1985 and grew up in Mishima,Japan.When he was six years old,he started learning classical Piano and had been learning classical piano until he turned 18years old from Mariko Masuda who was his piano tutor. After graduating from high school,he moved to Tokyo to enter Nihon University and studied Civil Engineering. After graduating from the University,he began to work as a systems integration engineer in Tokyo,but he could not give up being a musician so he started performing at venues in the Tokyo area at the same time. In September 2011,finally he decided to leave his position and come to New York City to be professional musician. In 2012,he became a member of the Asterplace by an audition, and then he began to perform at many venues in U.S.A. In 2013,he quit the Asterplace, and then he formed his own Jazz Quartet named,the Yusuke Seki Quartet,as well as a Poku Poku Boys,which is a New York mash-up of Japanese traditions with Jazz,funk and other music from around the globe.

Jazz pianist/composer maestro Sunny Rattana graduated classical piano performance with first class honor from Chulalongkorn University. Started from self- taught then had proper lesson with Nu Vudthivichai. He received awards from Thailand Jazz Competition 1st, 2nd ,3rd – H.M. The King’s Trophy for the Jazz Band, Outstanding Musician Award and winner of the outstanding musician award at the Greeley Jazz Festival, USA. Sunny teaches at Silpakorn University as a full time music instructor. He has been performing in many jazz festival around bangkok and beyond such as Thailand international Jazz Festival TIJC

How would a music sound if we could gather the most refined and beautiful South American traditions with jazz, classical colors and an open-minded fusion with no style? We would get Andres Beeuwsaert's music! As a matter of fact, with Andres Beeuwsaert's music, words are unnecessary and perhaps downgrading. Listening to his music, one could probably find some "touches" from artists such as Lyle Mays or Keith Jarret...but in his own South American way, Andres is always recreating music!! That's probably why Andres Beeuwsaert has already played with great musicians like Ivan Lins, Joe Lovano, Steve Khan, Hugo Fattoruso, Charly Garcia, Pedro Aznar (ex- musician of the Pat Metheny Group), Mono Fontana, David Lebon, Fats Fernandez, the Brazilian singer Tati Parra, guitarist Yotam Silberstein, Leo Genovese & Javier Malosetti, among many others. Nevertheless, Andres Beeuwsaert is not just a great pianist, but a composer of sublime and captivating masterpieces

Migiwa Miyajima

Born: June 17, 1974

Hailing from Japan, composer, producer, pianist, and bandleader of the 17-piece Miggy Augmented Orchestra, Migiwa “Miggy” Miyajima creates large-scale works manifesting her distinct life experiences. Birdland Jazz Club says, “Miyajima’s music reflects her journey as a musician and humanitarian.” Formerly editor-in-chief of a magazine in Japan, Miyajima trusted the power of music and became a full-time musician at the age of 30. In four years, the Grammy-winning Vanguard Jazz Orchestra found her and brought her two Grammy nominations as its associate producer for “Forever Lasting- Live in Tokyo” and “Over Time: Music of Bob Brookmeyer.” After surviving the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, Miyajima received a Japanese government grant and a Japan-U.S
