Jan Geijtenbeek

JAN GEIJTENBEEK | PIANIST | COMPOSER Jan Geijtenbeek (1988) is a pianist & composer based in Ermelo, the Netherlands. With his bachelor graduation from the conservatory he has won the 1st prize of the ‘Artez Vrienden Publieksprijs’ on account of “his highly personal approach and original compositions” He has finished his master studies in 2015, his main teacher was Jeroen van Vliet. In this year he also was a finalist at the Keep an Eye awards with his group ‘goatmusic’. He has released four studio albums featuring his own compositions: ‘Common Ground’ (2013), ‘Today’s Story’ (2014), ‘Silver is Gold’ (2015) and ‘Piece of Mind’ (2016). On ‘Today’s Story’ he collaborated with among others: Esther van Hees (Esther von Haze), Anton Goudsmit (New Cool Collective, Ploctones), Vadim Neef (The Cool Quest) and Rolf Delfos (Artvark, Houdinis) On his lastest release ‘Piece of Mind’ Jan has collaborated with his former teacher and winner of the Boy Edgar Prize 2014, Jeroen van Vliet

Toma Dimitriu

Born: August 19, 1993

Toma Dimitriu is a jazz pianist, born in Bucharest in 1993. He graduated from the George Enescu Music High School and is currently a student of the Prins Claus Conservatory in Gröningen, The Netherlands. He played in Romania and abroad, working with musicians such as saxophonist Nicolas Simion, pianist Mircea Tiberian, drummer Gene Jackson, and trumpet player Eamon Dilworth.

Rok Zalokar is a pianist and composer from Slovenia, currently living and studying in Rotterdam. He's leading his trio that combines influences from jazz, rock and classical music, it blends everything from powerful rock grooves to slow lyrical soundscapes. Jean-Philippe Dary was born in 1966 in Saint-Raphaël, Var, France, of fresh Guyanese parents. He started his musical career with the family. As in many family Dom-Tom, music is omnipresent in everyday life. Jean-Philppe Dary naturally integrated the magic function of bassist in one of the Caribbean orchestras of Frejus / St Raphael "Tropical Ambience". Danielle Friedman is an Israeli pianist, composer, and improviser currently based in Berlin.
Musically and geographically she crosses and transcends borders, bringing together different influences. Her music flows between Jazz, Classical, and lyrical as well as rhythmic free improvisation, riddled with imagination.
She is associated with these projects: Tangerine, Lisa Hoppe's YSOP, King Josephine, Zahir, Maura MoC, and Danielle Friedman Trio. 

Danielle’s debut album "School of Fish” was recorded with her New York Trio in Brooklyn in 2017, with Aron Caceres on bass and David Jimenez on drums. The album was released alongside a short European tour in 2018 and received excellent reviews from acclaimed magazines.

Born in Granada, Spain in 1983, Pamies has published three albums under his name; Entre Amigos (PSM, 2008), Borrachito (Bebyne Records, 2011), and What Brought You Here? (Bebyne Records, 2017). Critics have acknowledged his talent for composition, the lyrical qualities of his playing, and his natural and spontaneous ability to fuse the traditional jazz language and flamenco music of his childhood. Pamies has performed at festivals in Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Colombia, Perú, China, Spain, and the United States.
