Micah Thomas

Born:
Micah Thomas was born in 1997 in Columbus, Ohio. He started playing songs on the piano by ear at the age of 2, and shortly afterwards he started private piano training. From his sophomore year of high school onwards, Micah began gigging regularly with violinist Christian Howes, and was a regular faculty member at his annual Creative Strings Workshop from 2015-2018. He also has appeared several times with Byron Stripling and the Columbus Jazz Orchestra as a guest artist, performing with John Clayton and Joshua Redman for their 45th anniversary concert series in 2017. He has also performed throughout Ohio with other musicians including JD Allen, Billy Contreras, Eddie Bayard, George Delancey, Cedric Easton, and Bobby Floyd.

First serious gig was as a 'sub' in the house band at Sciolla's Supper Club in Philly at age 17 Performances ranged from mostly contemporary Jazz to Doo Wop and Rock as well as R&B Music style influenced by artists such as Oscar Peterson, Andre Previn, Errol Garner, Roger Williams, Ahmad Jamal, Jimmy Smith, George Shearing and many more.... Nikola Kolodziejczyk

Nikola Kołodziejczyk (born 1986 in Cracow) is a polish jazz pianist, composer, arranger and conductor. Kołodziejczyk graduated from and is a former faculty member of the Academy of Music in Katowice.[1] His teachers have included: Irena Rolanowska, Andrzej Jagodziński, Emilian Madey, Edward Anthony Partyka and Wojciech Niedziela. He leads a jazz orchestra - the Nikola Kołodziejczyk Orchestra - with whom, in 2014, he recorded and released their début album entitled, Chord Nation, which lead to a Fryderyk award in 2015 for 'Best Jazz Début', and three nominations. His second album entitled „Barok Progresywny” was awarded the Fryderyk 2016 for 'the Album of the Year'

Hayley Lam

New York based pianist, Hayley Lam is an award winning composer who specializes in both contemporary jazz and classical music. She began her studies in music at a very young age, earning her Associate Diploma, ATCL Recital Piano from the Trinity College of London when she was just eleven. She then proceeded to earn her Licentiate Diploma, LTCL Recital Piano and Associate Diploma, ATCL Recital Violin a couple of years later. Hayley is also a holder of the Yamaha Teacher’s Grade specializing in Piano since the age of twelve. With a profound interest in contemporary and jazz music, she was awarded a scholarship to further her studies at the prestigious Berklee College of Music

Josh Rager

Josh is a pianist, arranger, composer, and teacher based in Montreal, Canada. Throughout his 15 year career he has performed extensively in Japan, Europe and North America. In 2005 he was nominated for the Prix du Festival at the Montreal International Jazz festival. In 2007 he played at Carnegie Hall with Nikky Yanofsky appearing also on her Juno nominated debut DVD/CD “Ella…I swing of thee”. In 2009 he received a commission from The European Broadcasting Union to compose a jazz suite for two pianos entitled “Menuet and Duo” which was recorded by CBC at its premiere in Montreal at Pollack Hall and broadcast internationally

Keith Chasin

Keith Chasin is a pianist, arranger, and composer residing in Philadelphia. Hailing from Connecticut, he fell in love with the piano at the age of four.
