Dario Maria Walid Yassa was born in Milan from italian mother and egyptian father. Pianist and composer, he is a 1994 Conservatorio A. Vivaldi graduate from Maestro Vincenzo Balzani. He graduates with the 4th of Composition at Conservatorio G. Verdi in Milan and he prolongues his studies with Maestro Eros Negri. He also obtains the title of SIAE composer, qualification needed to perform in important exhibits and gigs. He develops a strong interest for jazz music and attends the Manhattan School Of Music where he learns impro jazz with Barry Harris and Mike Abene. Pianist Barry Harris invites him to take part to several of his seminars in New York and Boston

Monty Q Pollard

Born:

Q Pollard is a keyboardist who experienced his early life in a musical environment. His late father, Monti was a gifted Master Percussionist who provided the foundation for Q to explore later on in developing the ear to continue playing and learning mostly on his own, various styles of music. Q, who originates from Washington, DC, has strong Afro-Cuban, Latin and Brazilian flavor in his music as well as a feel for Contemporary Jazz and Gospel. Q has played with with several bands beginning with High School and into the military where he helped formed a band with several soldiers from all over the country

Andrés Vial (pronounced Vee-al) is a pianist, multi-instrumentalist and composer from Montréal. 

He has performed with Joe Chambers, Peter Bernstein, Ingrid Jensen, Malika Tirolien (Bokanté), Ivan Neville, Michael Blake, Ethnic Heritage Ensemble, Bassekou Kouyate and Ngoni Ba, André White, Kevin Dean, Greg Cohen, Al McLean, Kalmunity, Gamelan Giri Kedaton and many others.

Active as a leader and sideman, he has performed at over 50 festivals around the world, most recently appearing at the 2019 Vancouver International Jazz Festival and 2019 OFF Festival in Montreal.

When you see Ross Redmond perform, you’re just as likely to hear him sing an 80s rock tune by The Cars as you are to hear the latest Justin Timberlake single. You’ll probably hear some Herbie Hancock or a samba remix of an old doo- wop song if he’s really having fun. Ross is a pianist, vocalist, writer, and producer who has been working professionally in the Dallas/Fort Worth music scene since 2005. He comes from a musical family and studied both classical and jazz piano at the University of North Texas, as well as percussion and drum set. These days he splits his time between several musical jobs including writing and producing at Forsbach Productions, fronting his wedding band High Definition, performing solo at various Dallas venues, playing keyboard for various DFW churches, and performing with Dallas rock band Jackopierce

Lou Walinsky

Lou Walinsky is a pianist whose primary focus has been creating and performing solo piano arrangements based on a wide variety of songs.  His background includes extensive study of both classical and jazz piano - with extraordinary teachers that included Roland Hanna, Jimmy Giuffre, and Hank Jones.  Lou has worked in jazz, pop, and klezmer ensembles for over 40 years.  He has given solo performances throughout his career, as he worked on his concepts of arranging and improvising with songs, that have develped in his Piano Works concerts.  He loves creating these arrangements and is excited to share them with live in-person audiences.  He has produced two solo albums:  Lou Walinsky Piano Arrangements: Original Interpretations of Standards (2018) and Music From Many Places (1996). Lou has also taught piano privately, taught music in Philadelphia Public Schools, and performed music programs for both children and for senior citizens.

Emma Grace Stephenson

Emma Grace Stephenson is an Australian pianist and songwriter who has shared the stage with prolific musicians and bands such as Ingrid and Christine Jensen (Canada/US), Gian Slater, the Sirens Big Band, Sandy Evans, Greg Gould (Australia’s Got Talent 2013), and Brittanie Shipway (The Voice 2014). Her music combines rhythmic, harmonic, and improvisatory elements of modern jazz with folk-pop songwriting influences.

After performing her own compositions at the Sydney Opera House with Hieronymus Trio and the acclaimed Australian vocalist Kristin Berardi, Emma won the 2017 Freedman Jazz Fellowship for Australian jazz musicians under the age of 35. Emma was also the 2016 recipient of the Jann Rutherford Memorial Award for young women in the Australian jazz scene, which facilitated a collaboration with the award winning Australian vocalist, Gian Slater, culminating in performances for the Melbourne and Sydney Women’s Jazz Festivals, and a recording at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) studios in late 2016. This work was released in an album titled 'Where the Rest of the World Begins' in April 2017.
