John Finbury is an American composer based in Andover, MA. His earliest music education and influence came from his father Herb, a musician (violin) and one of the first jazz composition students at the Schillinger School in Boston, which would later become Berklee College Of Music. Three musicians with different backgrounds met in a home studio and realized it was the moment that they had been waiting for all their lives: Liliya Akhmetzyanova on piano; Silvio Canargiu on bass; Pierpaolo Frailis on drums. Liliya is a classically trained pianist. She graduated from Russian conservatory. Always hated jazz and thought that all jazz players are pretentious nerds. Ironically, she met Silvio Canargiu, who is a jazz musician, fell in love with him and, automatically, with jazz. Silvio Canargiu started his professional career in 1992 with sardinian pop bands as guitarist and later singer/guitarist. Went to Sanremo for a pop festival with Nicola Marogna then he played for a long time with Stefano Puddu in France recording a couple of albums such as Zamballarana with Jerome Casalonga's 15 elements ensemble. Mr
