Dave Williams

Born: June 16, 1942

Pianist David Williams was born in Liverpool, England and after graduating from the Royal Military College of Music at Knellar Hall set out to travel the world. After serving ten years in the British Army with the Band of the10th Royal Hussars and the Band of the Irish Guards, he settled in London, playing all the major London hotels and Club venues.

A multi-talented artist he was not only employed as band leader and musical coordinator for EMI, but also arranged for various groups and worked as a BBC staff musician playing piano, organ, saxophone and flute. All this was followed by several years working on transatlantic cruises and eventually he found himself on the shores of the United States, where he chose to stay.

Francesco Crosara

Francesco Crosara is a Seattle based Italian jazz pianist, composer and educator, typically performing in a range of formats, from solo, duet, trio, quartet, or more.  Originally from Milan, Italy, Crosara’s music melds an impressive mix of jazz improvisation, a romantic vein from his classical training, along with Latin influences.  His major piano influences are Chick Corea, Bill Evans, Keith Jarrett, and Herbie Hancock.

Crosara stands among the European-bred jazz greats, performing over the years with the likes of Lionel Hampton, Freddie Hubbard, Roy Hargrove, Richie Cole, Von Freeman, Bobby Shew, Ira Sullivan, Bruce Forman, Barbara Morrison, Don Menza,  Lilian Terry, and more. His recordings have featured a multicultural and international array of musicians.

John Lander

Born (1992) and raised in Brooklyn, New York, John Lander has been playing piano since age of 5; primarily self taught, with no real lessons until he reached adolescence. Over the years, John's skill rapidly increased with the mentoring of such musical figures as Paula Chan Bing, Arturo O'Farrill, Alvin Atkinson, and Frank Kimbrough. Mwalim DaPhunkee Professor is a multi-award-winning performer, composer, writer, and scholar, whose illustrious career has spanned decades and genres. His journey in the music industry began at a remarkably young age, starting as a session player for EMI at just 16, where he added intricate string parts to various productions. His early experiences laid the foundation for his diverse and expansive musical career.

As his career progressed, Mwalim honed his skills further by undertaking session work at the renowned Jazzy J Studios in New York City, showcasing his versatility as both a keyboard player and percussionist. His contributions to numerous projects and collaborations with industry stalwarts solidified his reputation as a talented and sought-after musician.

Don Glanden

Born: October 9, 1951

Don Glanden was born in 1951 in Wilmington, Delaware. He began traditional classical piano lessons at the age of ten with Sarah Miller; within a year he was accompanying the elementary school chorus. He was immediately drawn to jazz after hearing Charles Freeman, the family piano tuner, play blues and standards at the conclusion of his regular tunings. A friend of trumpeter Clifford Brown, Mr. Freeman proved to be an inspiring and encouraging influence. Don’s teen years were spent at Brandywine High School, where he took three years of classical theory and played in the school’s award-winning jazz band The Blazers

ade ishs (/ʌdɛ ɪʃ/) is a songwriter and a pianist currently residing in Melbourne, Australia. His playing style revolves around contemporary jazz, classical, and meditational. ade has recorded two solo acoustic piano albums, “Visions” (2009) and “New Butterfly” (2010), and one piano trio album, “ade ishs Trio” (2013). Chris Anderson was born in Chicago on February 26, 1926. He passed away just before his 82nd birthday two years after suffering a stroke. His lifelong fascination with harmony, sparked by movie scores, began well before the age of 10.
