Manuel Rocheman

Manuel Rocheman comes from a family of musicians. On his mother’s side, his grandmother is a piano teacher, his grandfather a flautist, his mother Danièle Alpers plays cello and viola and his aunt the violin. His father, Lionel Rocheman (guitarist and actor), created the “Hootenanny” at the American Center in Paris, where performers came from around the world. As a 10 year old his brother gave him a wonderful record of Oscar Peterson playing solo (it was ‘Tracks’); Manuel already had his own track-record of four years of piano. Listening to the Canadian virtuoso gave him a great feeling of freedom and made him want to go down the same road

Walter Wolff

Walter Wolff (Helsinki, Finland 1981), moved to the Netherlands in 2003 where he studied piano with Juraj Stanik, Rob van Kreeveld and Albert Brussee. In 2009 he graduated with honours from the conservatory of the Hague. He also studied privately with Brad Mehldau in New York City. Walter's refined feel for harmony as well as strong and lyrical treatment of melodies has earned him the reputation as one of the most exciting and original musicians on the younger Dutch jazz scene today. He performs regularly with trio Wolff/Angiuli/Fryland, the Eef van Breen Group and does occasional solo-piano concerts and tours.

Pianist Kelly Powers has performed with the Cab Calloway Orchestra, the Artie Shaw Orchestra, Steve Davis, Nat Reeves, Jack Jeffers and the New York Classics, George Gee Swing Orchestra and Travis Sullivan's Bjorkestra among others. Her playing has been showcased in numerous New York City venues including the Smoke Jazz Club, Cleopatra's Needle, Kitano, Zinc Bar, Makor, Swing 46, Minton's Playhouse, Big Apple Jazz, Bruno Jamais, CafŽ Vivaldi, Rockwood Music Hall, Crash Mansion and Night and Day. Ms. Powers graduated from the Manhattan School of Music Masters Degree in jazz studies program in 2006, where she studied with Garry Dial, Cecil Bridgewater and Dave Leibman. Upon graduation, her debut CD (which is available on CD Baby) was released with sidemen Matt Aronoff, Kendrick Scott and special guest Samir Zarif
