Xavier is definitely Goa's most accomplished jazz talent. His brilliant improvisation skills was noticed by the Fundacao Oriente in Goa who offered him a scholarship to study jazz in Portugal. Armed with degree in jazz studies and a portuguese passport, he headed to the UK and promptly got absorbed into the local jazz circuit there. He currently divides the year between London and Goa.

Ron Hart

Ron Hart received his BFA in Music Composition from Ohio University and continued his post-graduate work in Composition and Film Scoring at UCLA in 1978. Ron has played and recorded with a variety of music artists, beginning at age 19 with Dionne Warwick. His work as a jazz pianist continued with saxophonists Sonny Stitt and Richie Cole, bebop guitarist Bill deArango (Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Parker), trumpeter Harry “Sweets” Edison (Count Basie), bassist/producer Larry Klein (Joni Mitchell, Herbie Hancock), Jorge Strunz (Strunz & Farah), South Indian violinist L. Subramaniam, and many others. In 1981 ShadowLight Records released the Landress/Hart Group’s LP, “Dancing Moments,” a jazz/fusion album featuring Ron on piano and keyboards

Yago Vazquez

Yago Vazquez is a pianist from Spain based in New York City. He studied at the Music Conservatory of Vigo, SPJ Pontevedra and Estudio, Escola de Musica (Spain). He moved to NYC in 2008 to study at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music where he graduated with honors in 2010. He has toured extensively playing in jazz festivals in Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Portugal, England, United States, Guatemala, Mexico, Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Chile, among others, and has performed at some of the most prestigious jazz clubs in New York City (Blue Note, Smalls Jazz Club, Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Jazz Standard, Cornelia Street Cafe, etc). Yago Vazquez has been featured in over a dozen albums and has performed with musicians like Reggie Workman, Billy Harper, Jesse Davis, Gilad Hekselman, Joe Martin and Ingrid Jensen, among many others

Nathan Aronow

Nathan Aronow: Band leader and keyboard player and composer Nate earned a Bachelor of Music degree from the Berklee College of Music, and studied piano for several years with Boston’s own “jazz guru”, Charlie Banacos. A veteran of the Boston club circuit, Nate started and led the horn/funk band Landlords of Soul, for whom he wrote, arranged and played, as well as the Jazz Avengers. He has also played with Lois Lane and the Daily Planets, Xanna Don’t, Liz English, Nixie Ray and Backtalk and the G-Clefs. Steve Newcomb

Australian pianist and composer Steve Newcomb completed his doctoral study in composition with Jim McNeely at the Manhattan School of Music in 2013. As a Masters student at MSM from 1999-2001 in Jazz piano performance, Newcomb had Kenny Barron, Garry Dial, John Riley, Mike Abene and the late Manny Albam as mentors. Steve’s recent projects in Australia include the duo with the distinctive and creative vocalist/lyricist Hannah Macklin, with whom he released “Paper Cranes” in 2010, and the 10-piece West End Composers Collective, which has released two highly acclaimed studio albums “Downstream” and “Driving Hat”

Wrote and perform with youth group New Vibes, accompanist for Mrs. Marsha Walker. Studied with Allan Youngblood.
