OSCAR DEL BARBA was born in Brescia in 1968. He qualified as a pianist with full marks at Brescia Musical School in 1990 and obtained a jazz and composition diploma (also with full marks) at the Giuseppe Verdi Musical School in Milan. He has approached a range of musical genres (jazz, Cuban, Argentinean, Brazilian music) which, together with his classical studies, have given rise to an original personal style influencing his compositions as well as his improvisation. Paul Kissaun

Born: February 29, 1964

Paul’s acting appearances include Wind In the Willows National Theatre Alice in Wonderland (RSC) and played Corin in As You Like It for Cheek By Jowl. Other theatres include Open Air Regents Park Simply Heavenly at the Young Vic and Fiddler on the Roof at the Watermill, Newbury. On screen Paul has been in The Bill, How We Used To Live Coronation St.and Batman Begins. Paul directed the music for the last three Christmas shows at Theatre Royal Margate and played Billy in Sleeping Beauty and last year gave his Rudi in The Snow Queen. Johnny Case

Born: August 24, 1947

Johnny Case was born into a musical family on August 24, 1947 in Fort Worth, Texas. Both parents (J.C. and Floy Case) had been active in early country music during the 1930's and 1940's. The music activities resumed in the mid-1950's in Paris, Texas where Johnny and his older brother Jerry Case were child performers on regional country music shows. An intense interest in R&B led to Johnny's obsession with modern jazz while in his early teens. This is when Johnny Case began to teach himself to play piano. Jerry was already a guitarist in a local dance band and soon had his younger brother playing professionally

Rob Barron

Born in East Yorkshire he started playing the piano at the age of five and by the time he was in his teens, was performing his first gigs with infamous local band Jazz Soup, playing a weekly residency in Hull that lasted over two years. Rob moved to Leeds in 2000 to study Jazz at Leeds College of Music where he was awarded the prize for outstanding performance on the BA Hons programme. During his time in Leeds he played with Bob Mintzer, Tim Garland and Soweto Kinch and was a first call sideman for visiting artists. After four years of working as a pianist on the Leeds and Manchester scene, Rob moved to London in 2004 to further his studies at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, gaining an Mmus with distinction in Music Performance

Spyros Manesis

Born: July 21, 1978

Jazz pianist Spyros Manesis is born in Athens, Greece on 1978. His studies include degrees on classical and jazz piano at Athenaeum Conservatory (Athens, Greece, with M. Aivazova, G. Kontrafouris, S. Syrros) and Bachelor and a Master's degree on jazz piano from prestigious Conservatory of Amsterdam (K. Boehlee, H. Vroomans, K. Goessens, R. v. Bavel and H.Fraanje) and a Musicology degree from the University of Athens. On 2008 he made his first album as a co-leader with project TRIOISM (ANKh JAZZ). On 2011 he released “Undelivered” (JACC Records) with almost exclusively original compositions and arrangements for piano trio with Joao Hasselberg on double bass and Kaspars Kurdeko on drums

Jen Allen is a jazz pianist whose debut solo album “Pieces of Myself” was released in June 2011. The album features Dave Baron on bass, Lee Fish on drums, Kris Allen on alto, Josh Evans on trumpet and Andrew Renfroe on guitar. In May 2001, Allen was chosen as one of only eight pianists from around the world to participate in the Mary Lou Williams Women in Jazz Workshop at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Allen has played with many jazz greats including Nat Reeves, Jimmy Greene, Dezron Douglas, Charles Flores and Kris Allen. She has performed in venues throughout the world including the Winnipeg Jazz Festival, the Cambridge Festival of the Arts, the Greater Hartford Monday Night Jazz Series, and with many groups including Kendrick Oliver’s New Life Orchestra, the collaborative New Unity Quartet and other jazz and creative music ensembles. Allen has taught at the Litchfield Jazz Camp, The Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts, The University of Hartford, University of Connecticut Community School of the Arts Jazz Camp, and Trinity College. A native of Foxboro, Massachusetts, Allen was originally a cellist who started playing jazz piano as a favor to her high school band director, and it was then that she found her true artistic voice

Liza Micelli

Liza Micelli, Chicago-born pianist/composer and songwriter, respects her Chicago Blues and swing roots while embracing Afro-Caribbean and world folklore. She is a graduate from the Conservatorio de Música de Puerto Rico (CMPR) with a concentration in Jazz and Afro- Caribbean performance. Micelli began her studies with classical pianist Mary Petrulis and jazz pianist Skip Green. In 2005 she earned a scholarship to attend Columbia College of Chicago with a concentration in Jazz performance. Giorgi Mikadze is a renowned Georgian pianist, composer, and Yamaha artist. As a multi-genre musician and producer, he has gained fame by performing with “King of Chinese Pop” Wang Leehom on his "Descendants of the Dragon" world tour. What's more, Giorgi has been recognized for creating a number of acclaimed projects such as VOISA, Georgian Overtones, and Georgian MicrojamZ, and for introducing his projects to larger audiences, along with his music groups and distinguished musicians.

Noted for his supreme technical skills as a pianist and composer, Giorgi has regularly performed and toured with a number of renowned orchestras, such as the internationally acclaimed Tbilisi Symphony Orchestra. He has also composed for plays at the Rustaveli National Theatre, served as a musical director for Berklee’s tribute to Quincy Jones, and directed Jonathan Antoine's North American concert tour.
