Eric Schreiber

Eric Schreiber is a Philadelphia area based musician and composer. He currently performs regularly in numerous jazz, rock, and classical ensembles … and has released several CDs and DVDs in various styles. Most notably, Eric is currently a member of ‘The Chuck Anderson Trio’; which has been featured worldwide on numerous jazz radio stations, television, and jazz magazines … with ‘The Nerve’; which has been featured on 93.7 WSTW and other local programming … and with ‘Shades of Silver’; a diverse event band performing music from the 40’s through today. Eric has also worked as a freelance studio bassist with numerous artists and composers; covering a variety of musical styles and situations (rock, jazz, country, commercial jingles, television themes, etc). Eric has had the privilege to study bass performance and theory with world renowned bassist, John Patitucci (Chick Corea Elektric Band, Wayne Shorter, etc) and local jazz great, guitarist Chuck Anderson

Gray Hall

Born: November 10, 1992

Gray is an outstanding jazz guitarist from Philly who is the music producer for Brooklyn's neo-soul jazz group Space Captain. Gray splits his time between performing and recording in NYC and recording at the Great Time Studio in suburban Philadelphia. He and his high school classmates Alex Plye and Mike Haldelman working with Marilisa Cook-Simmons on vocals, have created a "electro-future-soul odyssey that blends the art of soul, production, and instrumentation (Revive)" that demonstrates the art of cool. After graduating from Guilford College (Greensboro, NC) Gray rejoined his fellow musicians, Alex Pyle and Mike Haldeman, also from the Westtown School (West Chester, PA) to produce and record tracks for Space Captain together

Victor North

Born: March 13, 1967

Saxophonist Victor North came to Philadelphia from Alaska, after a year at Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts, to immerse himself in the “City Of Brotherly Love’s” rich jazz culture which has been home to so many jazz greats, most notably, John Coltrane, who became a major influence of Victor’s as a teenager in the far away North. Some of the many great musicians that Victor has had the opportunity to work with since moving to the East Coast are Mickey Roker, Charles Fambrough, John Swana, Orrin Evans, Terrel Stafford, Ronnie Burrage, Jimmy Bruno, Duane Eubanks, Duck Scott, Byron Landham, organists Pat Bianchi and Jared Gold and he spent five years playing with Afro-Cuban Jazz pianist, Elio Villafranca

Paul Jost

When describing the unique vocalist and arranger Paul Jost, two words come to mind … “passionate storyteller”. Paul is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and arranger but it is his work as a vocalist that makes him a standout. Both critics and contemporaries alike say he is one of the best male jazz vocalists since Mark Murphy. Paul has performed worldwide with recent tours in Asia and Europe. Back home in the U.S, Paul is making his mark in New York with an ongoing residency at the internationally acclaimed jazz club 55 Bar, a two-month stint in 2017 at SMOKE performing with Orrin Evans, guest appearances with vibraphonist Joe Locke at Dizzy's Coca Cola Club at the Lincoln Center in April 2018 and performances at such popular clubs as Mezzrow, Jazz at Kitano’s and more

Bob Wagner

Born: December 31, 1969

2018 marks Bob's debut as a solo recording artist. Together up with pianist Peter Hillard, bassist Rannan Meyer, and drummer Sean J. Kennedy Bob has released Toot Suite, a collection of six elegant and jazzy pieces written for solo trumpet and jazz trio written by renowned french composer Claude Bolling. Over the past 25+ years, Bob Wagner has maintained a consistently active schedule as a freelance trumpet performer, recording artist, and bandleader based in the Philadelphia, PA area. But with an Electrical Engineering degree from Lehigh University, Bob also spent a major portion of those years traveling the globe in sales and marketing roles for a fortune 500 technology company. In 2011, feeling the pull of the trumpet, Bob set aside his corporate life and decided to concentrate full time on music and found his true calling. As a touring artist, Bob has appeared as a trumpet soloist with various classical, jazz, R&B & theatrical organizations throughout the country

Adam Faulk

Pianist, Adam Faulk has continued on the path. His unwavering commitment to art has fostered a reputation as not only a favorite of Philadelphia, but a fixture in the global music scene as an educator, composer and pianist. Raised between both the Boston suburb West Medford, and the city of Philadelphia, Adam was consistently surrounded by music since birth. Being exposed to music through the platform of music education shared by his mother, grandmother and several aunts started the initial entry into the art form via the violin at age 5. Soon after the viola made its way into the arsenal which would soon allow him to perform in many orchestras across the world

Tom Cohen

Drummer Tom Cohen has been a staple on the Philadelphia music scene for over 40 years having carved out a niche in a city known for its wealth of prodigious musicians. Though primarily a jazz musician, Tom's versatility has been his hallmark, leading him to contribute his talents in a myriad of musical genres.

Born in Newark, NJ Tom began playing drums at the age of seven and studied rudimentary basics and reading with Gene Thaler. Growing up in the NYC area eventually afforded the opportunity, when Tom was in his teens, to make sojourns to jazz clubs to hear the greats of those times and their influential sidemen. One of those times was hearing Stan Getz and his band and it presented the chance for Tom to introduce himself to Tony Williams, which soon thereafter led Tom to be accepted as a student..albeit after a short audition!

Philadelphia Heritage Art Ensemble

Active since: 1993

Fred Adams, an inspiring composer and bandleader, formed the Philadelphia based jazz sextet known as the Philadelphia Heritage Art Ensemble (PHAE) in 1993. The PHAE was created as a result of a proposal made by Ron Dewey Wynn to present the compositions of the late Philadelphia jazz composers Hank Mobley and Lee Morgan along with Fred's original compositions at the Mill Creek Cultural Center in Philadelphia. It was there that Fred joined the house band with additional artists and the PHAE was born.

The PHAE is keeping the Philadelphia jazz sound of the '50s and '60s alive representing the Philly East Coast hardbop sound by doing arrangements by Lee Morgan, Hank Mobley, Jymie Merritt, McCoy Tyner, Philly Joe Jones, and Dizzy Gillespie along with original compositions by Fred Adams.

The PHAE lineup includes Fred Adams leading the band on trumpet, one of three innovative jazz musicians rotating in the tenor sax chair, Brent White on trombone, one of two forward thinking Philly based jazz musicians on piano, Sonny Sunkett on bass, and Craig McIver on drums.

The band has performed at a variety of venues including Birdland in New York City, Kelsey’s and the Chicken Bone Beach Festival in Atlantic City, along with several locations in its home base of Philadelphia including Ortlieb’s Jazz Club, the Clef Club, Drummers, and the Platinum Grille

Michael Philip Mossman

Born: October 12, 1959

Michael Philip Mossman (born October 12, 1959, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American hard bop jazz trumpeter. Mossman's early career included a tour of Europe with Anthony Braxton in 1978 and tours with Roscoe Mitchell in the early 1980s. He also did session work in the 1980s, for Styx among others. He played with Lionel Hampton, Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers, and Machito before joining the Blue Note Records ensemble Out of the Blue in 1985. Following this he worked with Toshiko Akiyoshi, Horace Silver (1989–91), Gerry Mulligan (1992), Dizzy Gillespie, Slide Hampton, Michel Camilo, Mario Bauza, Eddie Palmieri, and the Philip Morris Superband
