His vocals are soul-tinged jazz, stretch over a 4-octave range and show influences ranging from Donny Hathaway to Al Jarreau. An innovative performer, Owen's performances are marked by authenticity, excitement and passion, showcasing his ability to play many instruments, especially the 5- string electric violin! Originally from Chicago, trumpeter, educator, and composer Elliot Bild got his undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University where he studied with Scott Cowan, Andrew Rathbun and Edward Simon. Shortly after, he completed his Masters Degree from Temple University where he studied with Terell Stafford, John Swana and Dick Oatts. In August 2017, Elliot was selected along with 14 other fellows to participate in the Ravinia Steins Music Institute, a week-long workshop focusing on composition where he worked with Rufus Reid, Nathan Davis and Billy Childs. Later that summer, Elliot attended the Banff Workshop for Jazz and Creative Music, where he had the chance to work with Gary Bartz, Jeremy Pelt, Vijay Iyer, Tyshawn Sorey, Robin Eubanks and Tia Fuller, among others

Jeff Scull is a jazz guitarist, composer, and teacher who has been active in the Philadelphia Jazz scene for the past 15 years. He is a graduate of the University of the Arts and holds a master's degree in Jazz studies. He has worked with various Philly musicians including V. Shayne Frederick, Kendrah Butler, Nimrod Speaks, Don Glanden, Larry McKenna, Paul Jost, and many others. Jeff Scull has performed at World Cafe Live, Saitama Arena (Japan), South Kitchen and Jazz Parlour, Cibo Ristorante Italiano, Chris' Jazz Cafe, The Saffron House, Paris Wine Bar, Sassafras Bar and Grill, Tritone, and the Reserve Wine Bar

Aaron Quarterman, Jr. aka "Aaron Qman"  has been playing the saxophone since he was nine years old. From his very first solo, Aaron decided that this is what he wanted to do with his life.  Born in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, Aaron first started playing the alto saxophone in 4th grade. In 7th  grade, he decided to switch to the tenor saxophone and hasn't looked back. He received private lessons from the late Mr. James Kilik of Settlement Music School.  Aaron Quarterman, Jr. was very inspired after listening to Charlie Parker growing up. As he got older, he started to listen to James Carter, John Coltrane, Lenny Pickett and Michael Brecker

A tango is all about moving smoothly as one with your partner. Orion Tango's tango is all about doing the same thing between minds and instruments. The newest project from Philadelphia's genre-defying 1k Recordings label consists of guitarist Tim Motzer, bassist Barry Meehan and drummer Jeremy Carlstedt: a team of premier musicians who've played together in various settings in the past, but never in this trio configuration before. Billy Krechmer

Wilhelm Frederick "Billy" Krechmer, 92, a clarinetist whose name once was synonymous with jazz in Philadelphia, died of heart failure at Sunrise Assisted Living in Paoli. Born in Millville, Cumberland County, Mr. Krechmer had long resided in Longport, N.J. He also had lived in West Philadelphia. Mr. Krechmer recorded with Herb Gordon's band and toured with the Ted Lewis Orchestra during the big-band era, but in Philadelphia he was known for the jazz club he owned, operated, and served as band leader for nearly 30 years. Nadine Fambrough-Gates

Nadine Fambrough-Gates is a native of Philadelphia, Pa. Born into a musical family, her mother was an organist of various churches in the Philadelphia area; father sang bass in the Male Chorus at they church and her brother The Late Charles Fambrough was a professional jazz bassist, composer, producer and teacher. Nadine was introduced to music at the years of age 4 by her mother. She sang in the children's choir at church and learned to play piano under her mother's tutelage before transferring to Settlement School of Music. She also performed with The Philadelphia All- City Elementary Girls Choir
