Born in Argentina, Norbert Goldberg began his professional career in New York City. He received a B.A. degree from Brooklyn College where he studied symphonic percussion with Morris Lang. Norbert’s work on drumset and percussion encompasses a wide spectrum of styles. He has performed with Broadway legends such as Chita Rivera, Sandy Duncan, and Tommy Tune and has played in numerous Broadway shows including Dancin’, A Chorus Line, Grease and Once On This Island. He has accompanied jazz artists including Cleo Laine, Dewey Redman, Slide Hampton, and composers Lalo Shifrin and Michel Legrand
