Doc Cheatham

Born: June 13, 1905

One of the very last survivors of the early days of jazz, trumpeter Adolphus "Doc" Cheatham attracted attention from the historically- inclined right up to his death in 1997 at the age of 91. His career recapitulated much of the history of jazz as a whole: he came of age hearing and playing with the New Orleans masters of the music's classic period; he participated in the big band movement that defined jazz in the 1930s; after the Second World War he affiliated himself with popular Latin dance orchestras on one hand and appeared with select, connoisseur-oriented small-group jazz combos on the other

Jeff Berlin

Born: January 17, 1953

Jeff Berlin is a legend of the electric bass. Simply put, he is considered by many to be the finest electric bass player in the world. Surprisingly, he is a pioneer of slap bass when he brought this new percussive-style bass playing in 1979 to the second Bill Bruford album, "One of a Kind", on the tune called 5G. Jeff also pioneered two handed tapping when he performed this style on Motherlode from his 1985 release of his first solo album called "Champion". When these styles began to catch on with other bass players, Jeff stopped playing these styles.

Play the drums (briefly studied with Andrew Cyrille) and trying to start a house band at the club. Did some freelance photography years back, i.e. Corporate Functions, landscapes, drunks. Also spent time in a rainforest in Indonesia.

Jim White

Drummer Jim White is an active performer and educator. His first musical experiences took place in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, where he studied percussion with Paul Yancinch, Mike Cebulski, Sonny Emory, and Jeff Sipe. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Jazz Studies/Composition from Middle Tennessee State University, and a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of North Texas. While a student at the University of North Texas, White performed with the renowned “One O’clock Lab Band” for three years. In 1992, Maynard Ferguson recruited White for his “Big Bop Nouveau” band with which he toured internationally

Pianist, composer, arranger, and producer Daniel Bondaczuk has led an ecletic career by navigating between utterly diverse musical spheres. Born and raised in Brazil, Daniel has been into music for most of his life, a journey that took him around the world. In his home country, his work with the legends of the radio era Cauby Peixoto and Angela Maria has earned recognition as it has won multiple nominations and awards in the acclaimed “Prêmio da Música Brasileira” (the local music industry award). He also has won the prestigious “Joaquim Simões da Hora Composition Award" in Portugal with a classical composition for two pipe organs.
