Ben Makinen - member BMI - is a performer, composer, and producer living in Denver, Colorado. He is president of Bmakin Music, a label he created to carry music from all points of the globe, regardless of genre. Seeing Miles Davis perform live three times and then meeting the Dalai Lama in person forever changed the way Ben would approach the art of music. He is a 2006 Independent Music Awards Finalist: Film/TV-Multimedia. Ben is the producer of jazz album Fishleather Jacket which received the Roger Bobo Excellence In Recording Award in June of 2006. As a drummer and percussionist, he has been touring the world as a sideman since 1985 with R&B, funk, and rock bands, jazz trios and big bands, avant-garde electronica ensembles, in Broadway shows, on international cruise ships, and with opera troupes and symphonic orchestras

Born in Warsaw, Poland. Started playing saxophone in high school (American School of Warsaw), also graduated in international and European law at Paris I University (Pantheon-Sorbonne - MD). While in France, studied jazz with French saxophone players Jean Francois Bonnel, Olivier Temime, Eric Barret and Lionel Belmondo. After his return to Poland, studied music on his own and with an amazing polish trumpet player, composer and jazz educator Piotr Wojtasik. Since 2002 a member of bands led by the legendary polish drummer - Kazimierz Jonkisz. Dario Boente

The term "crossover artist" can mean many things. In the case of Grammy and Latin Grammy Winner Argentinian born pianist and composer Dario Boente, it means a musician who is equally at home performing romantic Argentine and jazz compositions on a grand piano, as he is programming world-beat electronica. Dario's musical personality energetically bridges the Jazz-club and the Dance-club and is a direct outgrowth of his own life. Having been brought up in Argentina and Spain, immersed in the culture of tango and Jazz, he pursued his formal studies at Berklee School of Music (Boston), the Guildhall School of Music (London) and the New School Jazz and Contemporary Music Program (New York) and his social life in the music scene of New York, Madrid, and London. In the early ’90s, Boente toured the Euro circuit playing “Big Joe Turner” as his keyboard player and musical director, with pop band Imagination, with Spanish flamenco singer "Jose El Frances", making dance tracks, and performing in the major music festivals

Discovered in 2010 by world class jazz pianist and legend, Paul Smith, Lyn Stanley entered singing with the world’s most famous accompanist, Paul Smith and his trio, four months after meeting her. Lyn was born in Tacoma Washington, the same birth town as singers Diane Schuur and Janis Paige. Her dad played piano by ear in the style of Erroll Garner, and Lyn was an attentive listener at an early age. She also had a grandfather who was an opera singer and an uncle who sang tenor roles in local theater groups in Long Beach, CA. Ray Reach recently announced (July 2021) that he is nearing completion of a new recording titled "Rhythm and Salvation" The recording features legendary drummer Steve Gadd, saxophonist Lou Marini, Jr, trumpeter and director of the Count Basie Orchestra Scotty Barnhart, noted film composer and pianist Misha Segal and a host of other fine musicians.

As a practicing professional musician of some 49+ years, Raymond E. Reach (or just plain Ray, as he prefers to be called) lives an unusually diverse musical life. Ray has kept both feet firmly planted in two musical worlds - always having one foot in academia and the other in what he calls the "real world" of professional music. He is one of the premier in-demand jazz pianist / vocalists in the Southeast, having carved himself a niche, doing straight ahead jazz piano coupled with "Sinatra- style" vocals. As an educator, he is equally adept. From September 1998 until August 2005, Ray was Instructor of Music at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), where he taught music technology and directed the UAB Jazz Ensemble. After leaving UAB hhe was, 15 years, Director of Student Jazz Programs at the Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame (www.jazzhall.com), where he created and directed of the "Fun With Jazz" educational program, which originated through the auspices of the Alys Stephens Center for the Performing Arts, and is now offered by the Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame. In addition, Ray produces jazz and classical recordings and directs the Magic City Jazz Orchestra, a recording and concert Big Band composed of some of the best jazz players Alabama has to offer. Ray has performed with and arranged for numerous notable musicians, including Clark Terry, Leonard Candelaria, Ken Watters, Lou Marini, Ernie Watts, Dizzy Gillespie, Ellis Marsalis, Cleveland Eaton, Chuck Redd, Mundell Lowe, Bill Goodwin, Lew Soloff and Chaka Khan with the Lionel Hampton Orchestra. He has been a regular featured musician at the annual W. C. Handy Festival in Florence, Alabama (www.wchandyfest.com) since 2003, and has also served as a faculty member of the W.C. Handy Jazz Camp.

Julian Mekler

Julián Mekler is a composer and bassist from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Graduated with a Jazz Degree from Manuel de Falla Conservatory, he is an educator currently working in the National University of Arts (UNA-DAM). 2020 Honorary Mention in the National Prizes for the Sciences and the Arts. He participated three times in Centro Cultural Kirchner's Jazz Residencies program where he worked alongside great masters. He is the founder of Buenos Aires based independent record label Isla Desierta Discos, on which he released his two albums, Invasión! (2019) and Vida Útil (2023)

Maziyar Khavajiyan, aka AmooMazz (born August 21, 1986), is a music producer, composer, sound designer, bassist, singer-songwriter, and art director from the Middle East. He began his career in 2005 as a photographer and session musician in the pop music scene and was a former member of the alternative rock bands Majid Kazemi and Comment Band.

In 2012, Maziyar released his first EP, Fana (Annihilation), inspired by the mystical concepts of Sufism. In 2015, he co-founded #Tehran Band, an electronic-urban duet project in collaboration with sound engineer and record producer Mrz.Asghari (WoolWave), releasing two studio albums. After leaving Iran in 2009, Maziyar moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where he attended the Cultural Center of University Malaya. Between 2010 and 2014, he performed at several music festivals as a fusion jazz artist.

Shelly Berg

Shelly Berg is a Steinway piano artist and multi-Grammy nominated arranger and producer. His latest jazz trio album Alegría (ArtistShare) features bassist Carlitos Del Puerto and drummer Dafnis Prieto. His previous album Gershwin Reimagined: An American in London was recorded with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by José Serebrier (Decca Gold).

The All Music Guide says “Shelly Berg is one of the finest pianists around in the early 21st century playing modern mainstream jazz.” His recording project The Deep with bassist Dave Finck on Chesky Records is widely praised for its versatility and virtuosity with 4.5 stars from DownBeat magazine
