I'm a 37 years old musician from Munich/Germany, playing Electric Bass / Fretless Bass. I started playing music as a kid. After extensively learning trumpet for 10 years (solo and orchestra) I quit. A few years ago I rediscovered my love for playing music and started to play bass. And I never stopped.

He learned to play the clarinet in a virtuoso manner as a young child and won the Hungarian “Music School Competition” by the age of 12. Inspired by his music-loving parents, Bolla soon discovered jazz for himself and started to play the saxophone. A career as a child prodigy followed: After only six months of practicing, Robert Maloschik from public Hungarian radio discovered Bolla and started to support him. Bolla got to play with the great Hungarian jazz artists and was invited to Getxo Jazz Festival in Bilbao, Spain. During this time, he also met his musical soul mate – the classically educated pianist Robert Lakatos “We are like brothers” Bolla comments his professional relationship to Lakatos.

Born in 1968 in Bad Reichenhall/Germany he took classical piano lessons at age seven for about eight years.In 1983 he started to take lessons at the "Drummers Focus" drumming school in Munich for two years and attended several Jazz-workshops including Burghausen, Erlangen and Ingolstadt. Studied jazz guitar at the University of Music and Dramatic Arts in Graz, Austria (with Karl Ratzer), the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland (Raul Björkenheim), at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich, Germany (Peter O’Mara), and was a member of the National Jazz Orchestra (under Peter Herbolzheimer). He has performed with Klaus Doldinger’s Passport, Uwe Ochsenknecht and band, the Hilliard Ensemble, Wolfgang Schmidt, Roberto DiGioia, Martin Schmitt, Wencke Myhre, The Croonettes, etc. Zehrfeld formed Panzerballett in 2004 driven by a desire to combine his hard rock roots with his deep understanding of and extensive experience with jazz and thereby find the common denominator within the two essentially different sound aesthetics.

juergen hits the local music scene of his hometown munich at age 17. shortly after his debut as a bassplayer he plays in the opening act for ray charles. he hones his skills at the sweelinck conservatory of amsterdam, in paris under john cage colleague joelle leandre and finally at suny purchase, new york. he graduates with a masters degree in music in 2001. juergen played and studied with artists such as kevin mahogany, lester bowie, monty waters, scott colley, todd coolman and jon faddis. juergen played at legendary CBGB‘s (New York), Knitting Factory (New York), Smoke (New York), Else‘s (Montreal), Studio 303 (Montreal), Theatre Garage (Minneapolis), Waterfront Theatre (Vancouver), Meander (Amsterdam) and Unterfahrt (Munich). the year 2003 was a period of intense creative output. in that year juergen invites vocalist/laptopartist hester boverhuis of amsterdam and multi instrumentalist kai wolff of berlin to join the fun. together with hester he writes the audio-visual music and literature performance „breakdown on paradise blvd �" showdown in three acts“, which they perform in munich at laden 13

Nina Michelle

Nina Michelle is a Canadian vocalist, currently living in Munich, Germany. Since 1994 she's been touring Europe with some of the finest musicians. When at home in her native Vancouver, she regularly performed with Linton Garner at Rossinis jazz club. Her many tours to Switzerland included association with drummer Charly Antolini and his Jazz Power. Nina has performed with several big bands, including SWR Big Band in charge of Max Greger, featuring among other solo artists Benny Bailey and Hugo Strasser. In 1998 Nina recorded a soundtrack with the Billy Gorldt Orchestra as well as acted in a Süddeutsche-Rundfunk film production directed by Oliver Storz, "Against the End of the Night". Nina's current work includes a live big band recording with the Munich Swing Orchestra for the Bayerischer Rundfunk as well as "Swinging Christmas" CD produced by Max Greger Jr
