"The Bodhisattwa Trio" is an Experimental Jazz Fusion/Avant Garde outfit from Kolkata, India, which believes in expressionism, social reflection and spontaneous creation. Drawing influences from life, the universe and everything, the trio, with Bodhisattwa Ghosh on Guitars, Premjit Dutta on Drums and Shonai on Keyboards & Synth Bass delivers a mix of original instrumental compositions with special emphasis on harmonic and rhythmic expansion, theme and variation, virtuosity and spontaneous improvisation. Formed in 2012, the trio has under their belt a 4-track EP “Fuzzy Logic” and 2 full length instrumental albums “Intersections” and “Heart of Darkness”

Danil Zverkhanovsky

As a kid growing up in Kyiv, Danil had a choice between pursuing painting or playing guitar. After a few years of trial he’d left the former behind and made the latter into a profession. The time spent studying at the Glier college of music under Volodymyr Shabaltas was crucial for his musical identity and created long lasting ties with many prominent Ukrainian musicians.
In 2012 Zverkhanovsky goes out to Graz for his first foreign land experience and spends a term studying at University of Arts. Among the most significant musical experiences he’s found there were classes with trumpeter Stjepko Gut.

Sune Pors (b. 1987 in Odense, Denmark) is a guitarist and composer, who has worked with numerous Danish and international bands and artists as a sideman, as well as performing his own music. Current projects include the eclectic guitar duo Thief On The Roof with estonian guitarist Kirsi Tilk, the world-music-meets-rock group Umpas, rock/fusion trio Randolph Cricket and the genre-bending jazz trio Myrtue/Pors/Rõivassepp. In 2015, Sune Pors finished his master's degree in jazz/pop/rock guitar at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, Denmark. There he had lessons with Uffe Steen, Karsten Aaholm, Adam Levy, Miso Petrovic, Tolis Zavaliaris, Henrik Andersen, Gilad Hekselman and many others

Cathy Segal-Garcia

Boston-bred Cathy Segal-Garcia loved jazz since the age of 5 when she would hang around with her dad (sax player Mike Segal) while she listened to and copied Ella Fitzgerald. Her mother and sisters were also musical, and the family got her started on flute at the age of 10.
Cathy attended the Berklee School of Music from 1972 through 1975, where studied flute and Arranging and Composition . After college, she moved to San Francisco for a brief period, and then to Los Angeles in late 1975, where she still resides. One of the things that has impressed her many colleagues, fans and critics is that she has consistently performed and composed over the years. LABtrio (Lander – Anneleen – Bram) are three musicians with strong personalities, endowed with a fresh and adventurous approach to music. The trio’s acoustic universe conceals an urban jazz that flirts with electronic, underground and hip-hop cultures. Since the Trio’s founding in 2007, they have received several awards and prizes (including a superb double – Audience Prize and Grand Prize – at the prestigious Avignon ‘Tremplin Jazz’ festival in 2011). Thanks to this price, they recorded their first album at the Studio la Buissone, Pernes-les fontaines in France. Their first album “Fluxus” released in October 2013 (Outhere records) – a real gem – constitutes testimony to what is the jazz of today, seen by this new generation of musicians. In 2014, LABtrio participated at the 12 points festival in Umeå, and received a lot of positive feedback

Alex Lefaivre

Alex Lefaivre is a bassist, composer, and educator based in Montreal, whose musical prowess and versatile talent have won over audiences and critics alike. He co-founded the Parc X Trio, a jazz group that won the TD Grand Prize for Jazz at the Festival de Jazz de Montréal in 2010 and has produced seven albums.
In addition to his group work, Alex has released two albums with the Alex Lefaivre Quartet, YUL (2018) and Naufragés (2021). Their sound draws from the jazz tradition, blending original compositions with covers that reflect Alex’s contemporary aesthetic and visceral tone. With a cinematic style interwoven with a gritty, metropolitan edge, both albums have garnered critical acclaim for their mature and cohesive musical vision.

Alan Hall

Current composer, band leader and drummer of Ratatet, a neo-jazz sextet based in the San Francisco Bay Area which features Bassoon, Trombone and Vibraphone. Started drumming professionally with a San Jose, California based Mexican American Party Band: "Los Unicos" at age of 13. Began working as jazz drummer in San Francisco Bay Area until departure for Boston, MA. Attended Berklee College of Music and in 1986 joined percussion faculty there for 7years. While in Boston, he worked/recorded with singer Rebecca Parris, Scott Robinson, Stu Hamn, Larry Coryell, among others. Moved to back to California where he played/recorded with Art Lande, Paul McCandless, Kai Eckhardt, Ed Simon, Geoffrey Keezer, Kenny Washigton among others. Currently teacher at California Jazz Conservatory in Berkeley and Cal State East Bay in Hayward.

He has performed with Joe Chambers, Peter Bernstein, Ingrid Jensen, Malika Tirolien (Bokanté), Ivan Neville, Michael Blake, Ethnic Heritage Ensemble, Bassekou Kouyate and Ngoni Ba, André White, Kevin Dean, Greg Cohen, Al McLean, Kalmunity, Gamelan Giri Kedaton and many others.
Active as a leader and sideman, he has performed at over 50 festivals around the world, most recently appearing at the 2019 Vancouver International Jazz Festival and 2019 OFF Festival in Montreal.
