Christine Xu is a Beijing based Jazz Vocal/Composer/Educator
Christine Xu received a bachelor’s in Music Education from ZheJiang Conservatory Of Music. After graduation, she studied artistic director in Berlin, Germany.
In 2021, Christine received a master degree in Jazz Studies (Vocal) from Queens College, CUNY, studied under Jazz musicians Chareneè Wade, David Berkman, Jeb Patton, Dennis Mackrel, Antonio Hart, Michael Mossman, Aubrey Johnson.
Christine’s latest work,“Seek and Find” released June.21.2024, is her debut modern Jazz album, which collected her 10 original compositions. The album was recorded at 55Tec in Beijing by Christine with guitarist Zeran (Chris) Chen, bassist Wenjun (Vino) Wu and drummer Yongheng (Bei Bei) Wu. The album was mixed and mastered by Dave Darlington at Bass Hit Recording in NYC, USA.

Orlando Madrid

A native of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Orlando Madrid is quickly gaining recognition for his soulful, innovative and unique voice on the alto saxophone. His talents as a gifted saxophonist, composer, and educator have made him an in-demand musician who has performed at jazz clubs, jazz festivals, schools and concert halls all over the country and in Asia.
Orlando has performed regularly in the Las Cruces, El Paso, Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Rochester and New York City areas with nationally touring artists and local jazz musicians. During his study in New Mexico, he performed with the Albuquerque Jazz Orchestra (AJO), Entourage Jazz, popular local Bohemian Folk band Cactus Tractor, Bobby Shew, and Doug Lawrence. He also has had the privilege of sharing the stage with Ingrid Jensen, Marshall Gilkes, Dick Oatts, Jeff Coffin, Tony Lujan, George Stone, Jules Broussard, Eric Alexander, Clay Jenkins, Wynton Marsalis, Ted Nash, Rich Perry, Jerry Lopez & The Santa Fe Horns, Charles Pillow Big Band, The Temptations, and The Frank SInatra Orchestra. Orlando was selected as Lead Alto for the 2015 Mid-Atlantic Contemporary Collegiate Honor Jazz Orchestra, which performed at Dizzy’s Coca-Cola Club and the Maryland Jazz Festival under the direction of grammy nominated and saxophonist/composer, Ted Nash.

Lee Goodall
Lee Goodall is a talented multi instrumentalist whose main instruments are Saxophone: soprano, alto, tenor, & baritone, Flute and bass Flute, but he also gigs as a drummer and guitarist. Composing has been a large part of his life and he has worked as a composer for the BBC on projects including the radio plays "Waiting for Concord" and "Clara".
He lived and played in New York, USA for many years (1979-1985) performing with a great variety of line ups including Saheb Sarbib's "Multinational Band". This band recorded one lp/cd with Lee.
Lee played on some recordings for "Island Records" with singer Jess Roden who released a 5 CD collection entitled 'Hidden Masters'. Lee is co-composer on some of the material.The producers for this project were Phil Ramone and Joel Dorn and Lee played on sessions with Steve Gadd, Marcus Miller, Will Lee and Dr John and others.

Mark J Miller
Mark grew up in Racine, Wisconsin and attended nearby Carthage College. In 1992 he moved toMinneapolis to study at the University of Minnesota with Tom Ashworth and Ron McCurdy. An ever-present sound on the Twin Cities music scene in the 1990s, he played with and composed for MotionPoets, Slide Huxtable, Happy Apple, and Jeanay Say Qua. Mark also performed with the Latin SoundsOrchestra, Salsa Del Soul, and the Intergalactic Contemporary Ensemble.
Mark was a founding member of the jazz sextet Motion Poets, in which he and the other members eachcomposed an eclectic repertoire of hundreds of pieces during their eight-year tenure (1993-2000).They recorded three albums: “Truth And Consequence”, “Standard Of Living”, and “Lose Your Mind AndCome To Your Senses”. Motion Poets also traveled extensively, performing in 37 states and werefeatured at many jazz festivals, including: San Jose Jazz Festival, Iowa City Jazz Festival, Discover JazzFestival, and the BYU Jazz Festival.

Thomas Reilly

Thomas Reilly is an award winning multi-instrumentalist and composer from Bernardsville, New Jersey. Playing in rock bands since the age of twelve, Thomas’ passion for music has taken him through many styles. In 2021, he received his Bachelor’s of Music in Composition from Rowan University, during which he studied classical and jazz performance on drumset, vibraphone and piano, as well as classical and jazz composition. Thomas received the 2019 New Jersey Jazz Society Young Artist scholarship for his endeavors in jazz performance. Continuing his studies, Thomas received his Master’s of Music in Jazz Composition and Arranging from the University of North Texas in 2023. While at the University of North Texas, he played and recorded with the GRAMMY- nominated One o’Clock Lab Band.

Jason McGuiness
Infused in LA's jazz scene, Jason was a regular at the Piano Bar & Blue Whale where LA's rising talent would come to celebrate the music they loved. It was here that Jason first met with prolific saxophonist Kamasi Washington. In 2014 Jason recorded with Kamasi on an EP called Masterpiece. The 3 track EP featured new arrangements of classic tracks from The Temptations and was dedicated to the songwriting/producing duo behind it, Norman Whitfield & Barret Strong.
In 2019 Jason released his debut album, Empyrean Tones, an exploration of cosmic jazz featuring some of the greatest musicians of our times: Phil Ranelin, Kamasi Washington, Keyon Harrold, Randal Fisher, Mark de Clive-Lowe, and more. The following year he released his sophomore album, Passages, together with frequent collaborator Matthew Little, along with Keyon Harrold, Camila George, Phil Ranelin, and others.

Josh D. Reed
Josh D. Reed is an accomplished trumpeter and educator, with degrees from the University of Colorado Boulder, the Eastman School of Music, and James Madison University. As a performer, Reed has had the privilege of sharing the stage with renowned artists such as Dave Douglas, Anat Cohen, Art Lande, Tommy Igoe, Greg Gisbert, Paquito D'Rivera, Rufus Reid, and Darlene Love. Reed currently leads his own trio, quartet, and quintet, showcasing his versatile musical style.
In addition to his career as a performer, Reed is equally dedicated to his role as an educator. He has taught private lessons, ensembles, and courses at prestigious institutions including Lagond Music School in New York, Metropolitan State University in Colorado, and the University of Colorado
