Sometimes timing is everything, and Mize and the Drive of Murfreesboro, TN is proof of that as the band has been in the making for nearly a decade. Mize was formed in the Fall of 2009 when a group of friends who had been performing music in some shape or form for over eight years across Middle Tennessee decided to unite in hopes of creating a new original sound. Combining elements of blues, funk, jazz, folk, & classic rock, the band is rounded out by a unique approach to lyrics and songwriting with no limits to instrumentation or genre.
