Maxim Lubarsky is a native of Odessa, Ukraine, and has been playing piano for 20 years. In Ukraine, he studied at the Stalyarsky School of Music, where his father, a member of the piano faculty, was his teacher and mentor. Maxim received a Master�s Degree in Performance, Pedagogy, Classical Ensemble and Accompaniment from the Odessa State Conservatory, where he studied with Evilina Kovalenko. Maxim has been playing jazz piano since 1990, and has graduated with a degree in Professional Music from Berklee College of Music where he studied with Joanne Brackeen and Danila Perez. He has won first place in several jazz piano competitions including the Krivoy Rog, Dnepropetrovsk, and Kobanchenko in Ukraine
