Mark Waggoner

Mark Waggoner is a jazz guitarist from Los Angeles. He attended The University of New Orleans as well as Berklee College of Music in Boston. Like many other jazz musicians the music from the 1960's continues to be a big source of inspiration for Mark. Recordings by artists such as Joe Henderson, Lee Morgan, Wayne Shorter , Miles Davis and John Coltrane are among his favorites.

He has worked with Jack McDuff (organ), Buddy DeFranco (clarinet), Bob Sheppard (saxophone), Ron Stout (trumpet), Carl Saunders (trumpet), Don Menza (saxophone) and Mike Fahn (trombone).

For ten years he played in a band led by the great drummer Eric Gravatt
