Marco Marzola

Born: December 21, 1954

M. Marzola's artistic formation started in the conservatory of Ferrara. In 1982 he moved to New York where he studied with Barry Harris and acustic bass with Buster Williams. Captured by Jazz he frequentied the clubs of Harlem and the Village collaborating with important representatives of the Afro-American music. He also became interested in ethnic music. From multiple experience he gained the capacity to adapt to different musical context.
