Magic-kompa, a live haitian band base here in Atlanta, GA with 7 musicians. In the summer of 1999, the band came together with simple and sincere goal, to create an authentic blend of Kompa music to entertain the Haitians of Michigan. Gaston Cherichel AKA Tiga along with his brother Robenson Cherichel AKA Sonn had the need for an entertainment venue for the Haitian people as well as a passion for kompa music. Magic Kompa is currently the only Kompa band out of Michigan. The band has played at various local festivals, bars, and nightclubs.Live on stage, Magic electrifies the crowd with 6 musicians
