Luke Fowler

After spending his formative years in Perth Western Australia, studying at WAAPA until 2005, Luke Fowler moved to the UK where he has spent the last 15 years. Luke opened a Jazz Venue in South London called the Junction which soon became a hub for some of the best musicians in the UK, featuring the likes of Jim Mullin, Dave O’Higgins, Alex Garnett plus some of the new younger sensations coming out of London, including, Emma Rawicz and Rob Luft.

After Graduating with his Masters in Jazz Performance at London’s acclaimed Guildhall of Music in 2020, Luke has been busy running a series of projects which he has presented around London.

Sam Norris

Born:

Hailing from Cambridge, award-winning alto saxophonist and composer Sam Norris's love of jazz was ignited when he heard Coltrane's A Love Supreme aged 12.

Since then he has been fascinated with luminaries of improvised music such as Charlie Parker, Thelonious Monk and Lee Konitz, combined with an equal interest in contemporary classical and hip-hop music. This melting pot of influences has led him to develop a distinctive musical language, at once forward-thinking and grounded in tradition. Sam moved to London in 2018 to study with a scholarship on the prestigious jazz course at the Royal Academy of Music under the tutelage of Kit Downes, Stan Sulzmann and Iain Ballamy.

Dom Pusey

Born:

Dom Pusey grew up in Hertfordshire (UK). Surrounded by music from the beginning, he was introduced to the saxophone at the age of 8, igniting his lifelong passion for music. He started performing on sax and guitar from age 15 and played his first professional gigs not long after.

After studying at the University of North Texas and graduating from the University of Leeds, Dom moved to London in 2016 and has collaborated with many artists such as producer Wilma Archer, singer Celeste and even performed with legendary soul band The O’Jays. He is a quarter of the band Stratos, playing weekly in Hackney and featuring rising stars Mike de Souza, Rio Kai and Jamie Murray.
