Musician

Nineteen-year-old artist Kalen Henry grew up in an eclectic musical cradle. The daughter of a school teacher and a musician, Kalen included the music of several generations and genres in her childhood tapestry. From Stravinsky to Red Hot Chili Peppers, music always had a profound effect on her. “What I enjoy most about making music is the sounds musicians create together. Each part intertwines to form something mesmerizing, and we're all transported to an unparalleled zone where the music hijacks our souls and takes us to someplace better. A world full of people, different in almost every single way, but united by a love for the art of music— it truly is a beautiful thing.” Says Kalen. For Kalen, singing was not so much a hobby as it was an undeniable urge
