Juan Carlos Polo

Born:

Drummer, composer and educator born in Lima – Peru, on November 29th – 1982. Juan Carlos started playing drums at the age of 14 and began performing professionally the last year of high school. He holds a Bachelor degree in Percussion from The National Conservatory of Music in Peru where he is also a professor in the outreach music program. He has played and recorded with many projects and bands of different styles and genres such as the Peruvian bands “La Mente” and “Inity Band”, which has been the backing band for the well-known reggae starts: Clinton Fearon (Gladiators), Calton Coffie (Inner Circle), Junior Reid (Black Uhuru), Anthony B, Pato Banton and Mykel Rose
