Jovan Milovanovic

Born and raised in Serbia, Milovanović studied guitar and jazz composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. During this period, he had a great honor to perform his compositions with musicians like Dayna Stephens, Llibert Fortuny, Ferenc Nemeth, and Daniele Camarda. After graduating from Berklee in 2001, Jovan returned to his home country and dedicated his life and energy to his growing family while continuing to focus on his music. In recent years he has been very active performing with bassist Ivan Maksimovic and his organ trio featuring Aleksandar Cvetkovic on drums and Aleksandar Grujic on Hammond organ.

"Daisy People Music" is the first single from Jovan Milovanovic Quartet's upcoming album Away from you. The name of the composition is an analogy to the Branford Marsalis album Crazy People Music as it is inspired by the music from that album. Daisy also symbolizes something childish and playful.
