Jim Head

Canadian guitarist Jim Head has worked with such acclaimed jazz artists as Tim Hagans, Sheila Jordan, Bob Mintzer, Christine Jensen, Gil Goldstein, Ralph Bowen, Eddie Daniels, Kirk MacDonald, Gene Bertoncini, Jane Bunnett, Joel Miller, David Virelles, Lew Tabackin, David Braid, Kelly Jefferson, Mike Downes, Myron Walden, P.J. Perry, Doug Riley, Chet Doxas, Keiran Overs, John Stetch, Chris Tarry, and Steve Slagle, among many others. He has performed across Canada, as well as China, Mexico, and the U.S. Jim has appeared on over 30 recordings, including his 2006 release Mind's Eye, and his 2015 Juno award-nominated release, Zoetrope. Zoetrope was recorded in Brooklyn with some of the leading players in the contemporary New York jazz scene
