Rai Paz

Born: June 15, 1988

Graduated from the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu, he furthered his education by attending various masterclasses and the Begues Jazz Camp seminars, where he has been a collaborator since the 2016 edition. In 2011, he traveled to New York, where he had the opportunity to study with Peter Bernstein, Michael Kanan, and Gilad Hekselmann.

In 2019, he made his debut as a bandleader with the album Rai Paz Quartet Plays Gypsy (by Jule Styne & Stephen Sondheim). Later, in 2022, he released two works with the Underpool label: Dedicatòria and Return | The Music of Sean Levitt. At the same time, he has been actively working in a duo with singer Elisenda Julià, with whom he released the album Love Will Be the Theme Song, awarded Best Jazz Album of the Year 2023 at the Enderrock-440 Awards by popular vote. He also collaborates with singer Isa Mirallas and is part of the Diana Palau Quartet.

Louis Armstrong and His Hot Five

Ish Kabibble

Ish Kabibble (born Merwyn Bogue in 1908) was an American cornet player best known for his work with Kay Kyser's orchestra, which he performed in from the late-1930s to the early-1950s. He played a key role in the band’s sound, known for its blend of swing jazz and comedy. He became a well-known figure in both musical and comedic areas, partly due to his distinctive hairstyle.

Quintet of the Hot Club of France

The Quintet of the Hot Club of France, founded in 1934 in Paris, was a pioneering jazz ensemble that blended traditional American jazz with the rhythms and melodies of French music. The Dorsey Brothers

The Dorsey Brothers, Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey, were influential American musicians and bandleaders who played pivotal roles in the swing era of the 1930s and 1940s. After initially performing together in various orchestras, including that of the Paul Whiteman (known as "The King of Jazz"), they formed their own bands in the late 1930s. Tommy, a virtuoso trombonist, and Jimmy, a talented saxophonist and clarinetist, each led successful ensembles, with Tommy's band renowned for its smooth, polished arrangements and Jimmy’s for its more vibrant, jazz-infused style. Ambrose

Andrea’s debut full-length album, “Thinking Heart,” is scheduled for release in January 2025.
