Nikos Chatzitsakos

Born: June 12, 1994

Born in Athens, Greece, bassist, arranger, and composer Nikos Chatzitsakos is an award-winning musician as a member of Ralph Peterson’s GenNext Big Band and leader of the Nikos Chatzitsakos Tiny Big Band & Quartet. Influenced by Black American music of the 1940s-60s, he attempts to find new ways to honor the era and perform it and connect it to other idioms. Nikos is a graduate of Berklee College Of Music in Boston, where he studied performance and jazz composition with a full-tuition scholarship. He continued his graduate studies at the Berklee Global Jazz Institute on a full-tuition scholarship

Anton Kot

Born: 2002

Anton Kot is an award-winning multi-instrumentalist and composer known for his work
on drums, piano, and gamelan. Described as a musician with “composers wit” (Paul
Rauch, All About Jazz), he is recognized by BMI as a 2025 Future Jazz Master who
continues to push the boundaries of music by combining contemporary genres with the
jazz idiom.

Born in New York City, Kot was raised by visual artist parents and immersed in the
creative community of early Williamsburg, Brooklyn. He received his first drum set at
age three and began piano lessons soon after at the age of 4. Following a Philip Glass
performance at the nearby venue Roulette, he composed his first piece, “Snowstorm.”
Kot credits his early exposure to the arts with broadening his musical palette and
shaping his multifaceted sound.

Dan Costa

Born: April 7, 1989

Dan Costa is a cosmopolitan jazz/ world music pianist, composer and producer, praised for melodic sensibility (DownBeat), rare and luxurious output (All About Jazz) and profound expression (Jazziz). His music reflects his mixed cultural background as well as his fondness for the natural environment, bringing together philosophical concepts, modern jazz colours and world music rhythms. It has been featured by Rolling Stone Magazine, Sky and the BBC, among others. As an educator, Costa has been a guest lecturer at institutions such as the Royal Academy of Music, Monash University, University of New South Wales and University of Auckland

Steven Kamperman

Composer, clarinet player, and drummer Steven Kamperman has a taste for musical adventure that has brought him into many different musical surroundings. Although extremely versatile, Kamperman’s work always displays a distinct personality, guaranteeing a subtle balance between surprise and heartfelt inspiration. Ozenc, known affectionately as Ozzy, is a talented guitarist hailing from the vibrant city of London, United Kingdom. His musical journey began at the young age of 11, as he immersed himself in the captivating world of rock and blues. However, it was a fortuitous encounter with the esteemed Jazz Guitarist Cameron Pierre, known for his collaborations with UK Jazz icons Courtney Pine and Byron Wallen, that ignited Ozzy's fascination with jazz music.

Donna Lee Saxophone Quartet was founded in 1999, and since then it has performed in numerous concert venues and has had appearances on radio and on television. The DLSQ performs arrangements of jazz standards, though the arrangements and originals of the 29th Street Saxophone Quartet and World Saxophone Quartet can also be found on its repertoire. The quartet aims toward recognizable sound through original compositions composed by Zdenko Ivanusic.
