Sandy Asirvatham—known artistically as Sandhya—is a writer, musician, and producer living in Baltimore, although forever a New Yorker at heart. After earning a BA and MFA from Columbia University, she worked prolifically for several years as a freelance journalist and young adult nonfiction author, and was twice awarded with a Best Columnist honor by the Maryland Association of Professional Journalists. At 33 or so, in the midst of cascading personal crises, she got pulled back into an old childhood dream. Joseph Perkins BMus (Hons), M.A. is a London based jazz/session guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, educator and postgraduate from City University of London with performance tuition from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He has studied guitar with Scott Henderson, Wayne Krantz and Stuart Hall. Joseph has performed upstairs at Ronnie Scott’s (residency), Vortex Jazz Club, The Jazz Café (supporting Terence Blanchard), BBC Radio, JazzFM and for members of the Royal Family. Session credits include The X Factor winner, James Arthur, Benet McLean, Robohands and playing the music of Django Reinhardt in Jessica Swale’s film, Summerland

Nick Rousseau

Born: July 1, 1995

Nick Rousseau is a Brooklyn based guitarist and composer He likes to share thought provoking and emotionally compelling music with whomever he can. He’s greatly influenced by musicians across many genres, and whenever he plays he brings all of his influences to the table and creates music that's honest, while bringing out the parts he loves. He enjoys harmonic complexities and polyrhythmic feels, but also lyrical melodies and simple ideas. In May 2017, he acquired a Bachelors Degree in Jazz Performance from Florida International University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He also graduated from New York University in May 2021, where he acquired his Masters of Music degree in Jazz Studies

Ray Sandoval

RAY SANDOVAL is an award winning composer, performer, producer and educator, trained in both the Classical and Jazz genres.

Born of Japanese and Mexican-American parents, Ray’s musical career began at home in Tucson, Arizona. At the age of eight, he was playing drums in a family band with his older brother, Richard.

A family hobby turned into serious study when both became the first students selected for APEX (Academic Preparation for Excellence) at the University of Arizona.

Under the guidance of Thomas Patterson, Professor of Music, Ray began to perform solo works of classical guitar earning a number of awards and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music.

Wolfgang Seligo

Born: December 7, 1968

Pianist and composer Wolfgang Seligo is very much at home in many divergent musical styles. His original music is influenced by jazz, rock, and modern classical music and driven by a funky and powerful sound from the piano. He brought his work onto the international stage in various formations but also solo. He gave concerts in the Forbidden City of Peking, on the Red Square of Moscow, but also in Morocco, Senegal, Chicago and Washington. Other performances include festivals and concert series in Europe, Asia, Africa and the United States. After jazz studies in Vienna, Wolfgang Seligo gathered his first experiences as a composer, producer and musician in the early 1990s

Manuel Muzzu

Born in Sardinia (italy ) 06/25/1967 I fell in love with a bass guitar when I was a 12 years old boy. Graduate on M.I. Los Angeles in 1994 and U. M. Rome on 1997. I have an handicap on my right hand, due to a mistake by the doctors when I was six years hold, that prevent me to use all fingers. In effort to overcome my disability I worked hard on my own technique for play like a normal people, just because the passion is stronger than destiny. Musician and composer, session player for many artist in a live show, and studio session player for noumerous label and artist. My songs are insipired by all the different sounds I manage to extract from my 6 strings basses including what may sound like a conventional guitar when i use it as an harmonic instruments as oppose to a slap or a straight forward fretless melodic one. I recorded three album at my own names.

Born: October 18, 1987

Guitarist/improviser and audio engineer from Baltimore based in Malmö. With a heavy emphasis on free improv, rock, noise and free jazz, he has performed in the U.S.A. and Europe and has collaborated and improvised with Brandon Lopez, Jarrett Gilgore, Anders Lindsjö, Wendel Patrick, Ole Mofjell, Jaimie Branch, Ian McColm, Amirtha Kidambi, Dave Treut, Anais Blondet, Jason Nazary, Sam Weinberg, Andrew Smiley, Luke Stewart, Zach Rowden, Kurt Kotheimer, Sam Ospovat, Chris Pistiokios, Nick Jozwiak, Ola Rubin and Anders Uddeskog. Projects include Loplop, The Invisible Party, Pantagruelian Quintet, Swedish Fix, Lipscomb Quartet, Whoarfrost, Reina Terror, Windhorse, Start Again Ensemble, ad hoc and solo improvisation.
